Something interesting, the HK21E (LMG .30) was originally gonna be in GTA V named as the "Assault MG" You can even find a unused HUD icon for it in the files. Hope it returns like the Heavy Rifle did!
Heavy Rifle returned in a downgraded form. It reuses Special Carbines animations, and its damage is in line with other ARs even if it's called "Heavy Rifle". It also has an incorrect magazine, again reusing it from Special Carbine for some reason If Assault MG was to return, they better make it unique like here. We don't want another weapon that is lazily copy pasted
I love the look of the shells ejecting in this game, it’s also really cool how so many South American firearms are featured considering the game’s location, nice attention to detail!

After all,MP3 came out in 2012 and if we're comparing this to the remasters,well yeah,it's pretty self explanatory. The anims in this game are more visible than TLOU tho. I got 128 hours in the game and know the anims by heart. I never really played TLOU cause it's not my style of games,but i played the demo for Part I and it's really good. From what i can remember,the anims were pretty "Uncharted 4-ish" cause it's made by the same company and all that kinds of things. Still,both are good,but they shouldn't be compared as they have different release dates and both have different gameplay concepts.
Having grenades and molotovs would make some missions make zero sense (along with Max not using bullet time in some scenes). And instead of changing the levels accordingly, they would rather remove the ability to use them

Having the exact same gameplay and sound will make it bland and unoriginal... red dead redemption 2 is where the rockstar finally created a masterpiece where action and story are combined. That swaned off was a complete cheater gun in multiplayer, paired with the bomb suit. I remember a toxic turkish online player as well xD damn! Lots of memories
I believe they used AK47 as a base for the M4 as it only appears as dlc (? not sure) but it was definitely Multiplayer exclusive, perhaps thats why the M4 details are neglected.

if you see some of the leaks, they sound good actually not realistic, but good I believe they will use the same sound system like they did in RDR2 y'know, with the gunshot reflecting around the skyscrapers and shit
