Respect the 1st people of this nation we all call America. It is time to understand what they protect effects everyone of us and our future generation. Before you say something rude..understand the customs and faith. I STAND WITH STANDING ROCK PROTECTORS. WATER IS LIFE
The First Nations aka Native Americans have been absent from this entity known as the United Nations since its founding January 1, 1942 (500 years after the "discovery" of America. Of course the UN came into existence October 24, 1945. At last we have been allowed "a foothold at its doors." My point is the existing First Nations (several of these Nations are standing in solidarity with Standing Rock against DAPL whose commitment is to be at the encampment until its completion) should have had their own Ambassador or diplomat seated next to the United States' Ambassador at all its sessions since 1945!. The UN "charter" at the time of its founding was based the "...principle sovereign equality of all Nations" and "...principle of collective security..." Now that this massive and mysterious gathering has taken place according to our own prophesies and that of the mega Evangelist, Dr. Billy Graham's March 1975 prophesy relevant to the future of our First Nations, time as come for the First Nations to cite all their historical wrongs perpetrated on their tribes i.e. what their tribes offered to the "invaders" of our lands (see map of native american tribes youve never seen before) their invader's betrayal and list of its aftermath seen to date for the sole purpose of allowing interested individuals to know the TRUTH in any aspect still questioned and perhaps, just perhaps the First Nations can halt current intentional heartless destruction of our lands. The ruthless destruction of everything the Great Spirit so gloriously created and so revered by all the existing First Nations here on this continent. Since this divinely-inspired unexpected massive gathering of over 280 distinct Nations, with its 8,000 on-sight supporters comprised of well-know celebrities, alternative media reporters/presidential candidates (who were arrested), and hundreds of thousand internet email supporters and letters of endorsements from unions, institutions, foreign country officials, labor unions, professionals, even by the the Labor for Palestine Co-Conveners' petition on the internet etc. I personally hold up the first famous individual who attempted to call worldwide attention to the Native American's desperate issues when he refused to accept his rightful Oscar for his performance in "The Godfather". Marlon Brando's interviews for his actions are seen/heard on the "Spider Web"--the internet another form of technology that was prophesized to take place when our peoples were to take the World Center Stage -- just before the closing of the Circle of Life. The first massive gathering of Nations took place June 25, 1876 at Greasy Grass in Montana. Standing Rock Sioux, a Hunkpapa Chief was permitted his request for his "last hunter" for buffalo before he and his tribe were to be imprisoned for the rest of their lives on small parcels of land called "Indian Reservations". Word of his location spread like wild fire throughout Indian Country. Unknown to the 15,000 gathered at Greasy Grass that the military was on its way to annihilate them under the arrogant and ambitious General Custer whose bid for the Presidency that year was put on hold by the First Nations gathered at greasy grass aka Battle of the Little Big Horn. This glorious victory did not end with military honors--no metals of honors, no victor's claims as well, only a massacre of over 360 unarmed men, women, children and infants by the 7th Cavalry 14 years later during the harsh cold winter on December 29, 1890. For this atrocity the men who took every weapon away gathering the 360 into the center took their places on an uphill location to load their stationed gatling guns that was official adopted by the U.S. Army in 1866. Yes, this another magnificent gathering can be a start and also share Prime Minister Netanyahu's 2016 Speech to the United Nations gathering last week. Netanyahu's powerful speech invites peace and a glorious future for the world that was to have been since the beginning of time in accordance to the Great Spirit, Creator of all universe, the Alpha and the Omega.
If you say this then what business does the USA have in Syria or anywhere in the middle east? I personally, as a US citizen, am glad the UN is getting involved because the government has been negligible about this topic and pushing it aside.
We are in and at the United Nations now. We are beginning to participate at a State to State level. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples was almost (US and Canada didnt') unanimously ratified and approved by the United Nations General Assembly on October 2, 2007. From that historic day, the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues was created. We have been taken off the Menu and now are participating in determining what the Menu is. I have been a registered member of the United Nations since 2011, and have vigorously participated in the UNPFII since 2013 and many other platforms including climate change and the environment. I am a Navajo and Hopi from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
