I had never tried acrylic painting until finding your videos. Now I have created a few paintings using your ideas and especially the aluminum foil. Of course, mine aren't the quality of yours, but this has given me another outlet for my art and also helped work through the grief process of losing my only sibling recently. Thank you!

Jay Lee this is BEAUTIFUL. It's very calming and relaxing to watch you. It amazes me too how you use ordinary household objects in creating these paintings, such as foil, a comb and cotton swabs. Bravo! 👏👏👏

And to add to this comment, I drew cartoons in my younger years, when I was in Senior High School, and I've used acrylic paint to make handmade decals too!
Our local dollar store carries made in America paint and paint supplies, including canvases of all sizes. My 9 year old loves to paint, I'm going to encourage her to try this painting. Thanks to the $ store, she is able to express herself artistically without breaking the bank!

Watching you paint and be able to express your creativity so beautifully makes me feel so emotional. When I was a child I was full of so much creative energy and I loved to paint, draw, sing, dress up, play... do all the things that set your soul free. But then an unfortunate series of traumatic events came and didn't stop for 22 years, leaving my self-confidence and esteem shattered. I sit here crying, longing for the inner child inside me to be able to be free again, to have no inhibitions over what people think of me. I hope I can find it in me to be able to pick up a pencil again and to learn how to paint like this, without the fear of failure overriding the desire to create. Thank you for sharing the process of your magical creations with us.

Excellent choice of colors and technique. The key is to clean the brush after initial blending :) It is not shown in video. Beginners make the mistake by blending all colors in one stroke :).
