@@MCAgriTech thank you, the production is going well so far, learning along the journey. The greatest challenge is learning the art of pruning the peppers
Good question. Hydroponic systems can operate within a greenhouse setting or they can be operated outdoors. Essentially, most greenhouse operation uses hydroponic systems which is non soil. Therefore, they use water alone which is true hydroponics or they use perlite, rockwool, gravel, coconut coir etc. Suffice to say, greenhouse and hydroponic work together where you use the hydroponic system in a greenhouse setting. An hydroponic system out doors would be subjected to all the harsh environmental conditions but the hydroponic system that is set up in a greenhouse structure is more controlled and subjected to less harsh environmental conditions and a better mico climate for the plants. Therefore, my answer is, hydroponic production will do better in a greenhouse structure than outdoors.
Hello and good morning. Thank you for this important question. I did a video in the past regarding this question. I have included the link below. Please watch the video and you will have a better understanding of the cost. Please note that the figures quoted are in Jamaican dollars, thank you. Link: th-cam.com/video/rYTLdnWzhXQ/w-d-xo.html
The cost for colored bell peppers varies and is based on the market. The cost can vary between $180jmd to $300jmd. 6000lbs can be over 6 months and 8 months, base on your management.
Garbage video. You need to let us know what the average yield per plant. How much you going to spend on chemicals to treat plant. How much you going to spend on irrigation and possible how much you can earn if all goes good. Video with no information
This video gives me good insight in terms of greenhouse size and yield.
Great content ! Keep up the good work. I am a young green house farmer who specialises in sweet peppers
Thank you. Continue the production- hiw is the sweet pepper production going? What is your greatest challenge growing sweet peppers?

Happy New year. You will grasp the concept very quickly because you are doing it often.
Excellent videos so detailed!!
Thank you, and Happy New Year.
Good topic protected structure agriculture is the way to go
Most definitely; we just need the government to put some money into developing the greenhouse sector in jamaica.
When you bring out the calculator 😅love it! Serious business
Great, thank you for the support.
Invest in vertical farming and you can 10x the yield with the same footprint.
Great video as usual. Do one for tomatoes.
Thank you, I will soon.
Also what is the cost to construct greenhouse.
Hi how can I get funding to build a greenhouse
Good afternoon want to know the best pest killer for the peppers
Good day, it depends on which pest. What pest are you referring to?

Good video very informative but those profit margins are so small one would need about 40-60 green houses to make it make sense financially annually.
Thank you and thank you for your analysis however, your analysis is relative to many factors.
