Hell no, that belongs to his debut in Superman: TAS. This one lacks the charm and charisma of the original. Lots of modern writers like taking the piss out of Lobo because they think he's a relic, but if they leaned into more and respected the character, they'd be having a blast writing him.

I'm assuming it's because it wasn't well known or even known at ALL that Kryptonians had insane crazy power, speed, and durability under a yellow sun. I imagine they were only known for being how they are normally, which is human like under a red sun. I think the universe knew them as a wise and old science based race of philosophers. So when Lobo met Clark who could fly, was durable enough to resist his alien weapons and overpower even him, it didn't make much sense to him..
DP understands his place. He doesn't want life only death. Lobo wants to live. Its why he ended those that can end him. DP wants what Lobo can't handle.
Liked it better when Lobo was portrayed as stronger than super man and smarter too, it was one of the extremely few times ANY entity was portrayed as stronger than super forcing him to think rather than just punch
Lobo was clever enough to snag a piece of kryptonite from the destroyed planet I guess? I'm just amazed he snagged the right color. Can u imagine if he grabbed a red or black piece of kryptonite by accident?
Not a fan of this animation style (pseudo-anime?) but the adult nature of the content is interesting. Hopefully we'll see an on-screen version of Lobo that is worthy of the character (as soon as DC figures out what the heck they're even doing anymore).
Everyone keeps saying Jason Mamoa ship play him, he’s still Aquaman in the DC universe. Granted Chris Evans once played Johnny Storm and then came back to play Captain America a few years later. Even many die hard MCU fans barely remembered him in that role though.
Momoa would be perfect for Lobo! My Opinion of course, but to me, Momoa made Aquaman his own! It’s something I found quite unexpected, and I’ll miss his Aquaman
