Having worked before in Singapore, I can relate as to why you feel the life there or other similar places is not for you. I admire you stepping out of it to find what actually makes you happy. Most Singaporeans feel too much inertia to leave like you, as a result I read it is one of the world's unhappiest place. Too much emphasis on materialism, status and their definition of success. A perpetual treadmill of keeping up with others that you never get off. The day I left was one of my happiest, until now 30 years later. BTW, everything is so low cost in Bali compared to here in the US. You made a pretty good choice. Hawaii costs folds more. I appreciate your well made, stable and interesting videos. Thanks for the effort.

It’s also a great place to live if one values stability n safety n all that stuff but at the same time that’s not for everyone. I got lucky in my bid to escape that life. On Oahu, your house would be at least usd500k, and the rice plates you show between usd12-15. You are very fortunate, many want to leave Singapore but stuck...conditioned to a lousy life, kids etc
You are sure one that really jumps right in! The last time pouring all the sambal in whilst saying you can't take spicy and now 3 packets of chips instead of 1 without knowing what it is. omg this is super exciting, this reminds me of the night markets back in Malaysia. I love going there because they always got so much yummy foods and goodies! I bought the best pair of ripped jean shorts at one at those night markets, I was super happy! The clothes there have such great prices! omg the desserts u got, LOOKS SOO GOOD omg. basically like a sweet corn dog. ooo first time seeing an ice fruit bowl! For foreigner who loving our food and try to make it at home a bit struggling to find the spices and herbs and also quite expensive out there because they are imported goods. And a bit warning for any foreigner who excited to taste and enjoy our food ... be aware Abou Bali Belly... Every person has own strength level of pedas food (spicy food) .. make balance after consume spicy things to Drink some milk or vitamin... Its not about the higine ... Its about the strength level every individual visitor .. for the one who not use to it .. avoid spicy food .. And for spicy lover ... You are in heaven....hahaha. Certain cities have different names for such platter 5 Fruit ice = iced tropical fruits with condensed milk

Indonesia such great land for any spices and herb...that why our typical food is so tasty and healthy.
There is a tons of spices and herb spread out in our nature ...
That why Indonesian food is cheap tasty and healthy...
For foreigner who loving our food and try to make it at home a bit struggling to find the spices and herbs and also quite expensive out there because they are imported goods.
And a bit warning for any foreigner who excited to taste and enjoy our food ... be aware Abou Bali Belly...
Every person has own strength level of pedas food (spicy food) .. make balance after consume spicy things to Drink some milk or vitamin...
Its not about the higine ...
Its about the strength level every individual visitor .. for the one who not use to it .. avoid spicy food ..
And for spicy lover ... You are in heaven....hahaha.

4 banana, tapioca and sticky rice, topped with local brown sugar, some stalls add with shreeded steam coconut. Certain cities have different names for such platter
5 Fruit ice = iced tropical fruits with condensed milk

Jasuke if you didn't know what jasuke is. It is "jagung susu keju" In short "jasuke" Or in english is "corn cheese milk" So we ( i mean indonesian ppl) short it become "jasuke". Hope my explanation help
