As someone who’s new and getting into the sport, this is great content. Learned a lot and can’t wait to get this into practice. I enjoyed watching you fight in Belmonte by the way. Well deserved gold!
You should consider trying shield out with sword under the armpit on your shield side. It doesn't seam intuitive but it is a great provoking guard used slightly out of reach to provoke a head strike, use a rising cut to deflect and redirect the cut then use a shield press to control thier sword arm your sword should now be above your head to throw strikes unopposed although as a leftly you might need to modify accordingly possibly with a rising cut to gather thier blade onto your cross guard then bringing your shield up underneath to sweep aside thier sword hand and gain the outside line
I'm not sure about a punch shield, but with a buckler, hanging guard can be used by bringing the sword in contact with the shield, pulling both back a little, and springing forward with that.

Thank you! And thank you for the compliment. I am glad the channel helps
Looks like a sold foundation to build a proper defense on. Good showing, good technique, simple and efficient. I dig it.
Thank you my man. Much appreciated. I've also seen your sparring videos and the weapons you make so this means a lot.
Learned so much thanks brotha!
Thank you for watching! I'll be back to making videos again soon so feel free to subscribe to see more.
