If Lewis was driving the Ferrari, we would've been world champion in both years. He made the difference and Seb was under excruciating pressure. Whatever you interpret this heat of disappointment chatter, McLaren now have the best driver pairing on the grid, and a decent car to chase championships with. Bring on Spa and let them race, but also work together to avoid Kamikaze Max doing his thing. Both maclaren could have been out in L1 T1, had Norris not held it together in the sandwich. Credit to him for that, and credit to Max for letting his steering out.

I’m calling it. This was disgusting from Lando. I wouldn’t allow any of my kids to be that disrespectful to ANYONE, let alone someone who has always been a vocal supporter of theirs. Overall, Norris’s behaviour throughout didn’t exactly cover him with glory. Sure, he eventually did the right thing, but it was painful to hear the increasingly desperate messages from the team, cajoling him and reasoning with him like he’s a child with an attitude problem. Which, on reflection, he probably is actually.
Landonwas out of order. Lewis complimented him and the team and he was overly aggressive in his response.

Now that lewis and fernando are old, max is the best driver on the grid but he’s not a second per lap faster than everyone else like his fans say. They said he would dominate in the 3rd fastest car lol. If i had to guess i would say he’s half a tenth faster than the likes of charles, george, lando, lewis and fernando on pure pace and maybe a tenth faster than the other top drivers. If you factor in racecraft and all the other things a drivers has to be good at i would still put him as the best but tied with lewis and fernando. Wheel to wheel racing under pressure is max biggest weakness. We all thought he grew up but it seems that was an illusion because he didn’t have to race wheel to wheel under pressure in the last two years. Now that the pressure is on he starts driving like a maniac again. He seriously needs to fix that if he wants to be the goat.

mclaren messed up but norris was not showing class. Ferrari did this switch many times with leclerc and sainz in the past, it was not completely fair but those guys always handled it with class

In an ideal world the mclaren team should have laid out what the plan was and got confirmation off lando that he agreed to it before they pulled him in for the undercut, secondly lando should have looked to swap position asap when they first asked so that he could spend the last 10 or so laps chasing oscar down and maybe claiming the win as he was the faster of the two drivers over that last stint..... assuming the team would let them race of course
The plan was clear - who leads at the start gets priority. Lando hoped for exception thinking about drivers championship.

Whatever you interpret this heat of disappointment chatter, McLaren now have the best driver pairing on the grid, and a decent car to chase championships with. Bring on Spa and let them race, but also work together to avoid Kamikaze Max doing his thing. Both maclaren could have been out in L1 T1, had Norris not held it together in the sandwich. Credit to him for that, and credit to Max for letting his steering out.

Lando was probably just boiling over internally over the letting Piastri through, and took it the wrong way in the heat of the moment.
Or it might just have been another one of the classic Lando jokes. Like the one he made about Vettlel in a quiz video, telling him to focus more on the racing, You know the guy that has 4 times the championships than Lando has wins as of this moment (he had zero wins back then).

Oscar is learning the ropes very quickly, he's very fast AND he has a cooler, more measured head on his shoulder.
