Nice video!! one problem with that guitar people said the pickups were so hot you couldn’t play them clean and they had an extreme hum but in this video it’s not true maybe some guitars have that problem and yours came excellent.
@@dadoffournot necessarily true I have a Washburn parallax with EMG 81/85 and I don't have that issue. I don't know how they do it but I also own this guitar the reviewer is showing. The difference is night and day. I don't know how but the Harley Benton one you can plug it through a clean signal and it distorts like it's being overdriven. I throw my Washburn through there and it's authentically clean.
Excellent review. May i know if the model u got is made in Vietnam or Indonesia? Been seeing mixed reviews on the QC like nut issues, fretwork, binding on the earlier model issues, do you face any of them? Otherwise it definitely sounds great for the price
Sorry, I no longer have that guitar with me and I don't remember if it was from Vietnam or Indonesia :( but my model was made very well, the fretwork was pretty good and the factory setup wasn't bad at all
I'm pretty sure that this model will be my next guitar....but...I just can't decide between the black one or the white one. The white one does seem to have metal knobs instead of the plastic ones on the black model. Are they actually more durable? Which one would you recommend?
Hmm, I think that plastic knobs aren't problematic at all (also you can easily replace that stuff - it's not expensive). So choose the color that you like and take it from there :)
Most of them are just random riffs that I created during recording :) apart from Metallica's Nothing Else Matters (during clean demo) and Evil Twin by Arctic Monkeys during fuzz demo
Yeah I wish he could have shown that off to get an idea of how it is. I own it and the thing isis you have to be very particular about your setup. If the room layout with a band is not good, or if you have dirty electricity it can feedback pretty bad. (With high gain setups) I'd say if you want to get some solid distortion with this thing as someone who uses this for regular gigging, it works well with amps that have light distortion and the pickups can help push it to that sweet spot. But I would definitely not recommend throwing this through something like an Engl fireball or the likes.

That's active pickups tho is it not .
That’s the issue with any guitar with active pickups simply adjust the volume and tone knob

Hmm, I think that plastic knobs aren't problematic at all (also you can easily replace that stuff - it's not expensive). So choose the color that you like and take it from there :)
