H.B.gives great value.I own almost 30 basses and have played and gigged for decades.I bought the sub $200 RB-414 Fakenbacker.I couldn't believe how much it punched above it's weight class.I threw in two superior pickups and it improved an already great bargain.Still came in at under 400 bucks.I would recommend H.B. to anyone especially beginners looking for that first bass or guitar.They will save $$ and gain a keeper.

Hi from Spain again! Well they returned my guitar and this time both volume and tone controls for both pickups did not function so I had to return it again for repair. Yesterday three months after I bought it they sent my money back which I told them I did not want, I just wanted an SC-550 II that was as good as all the ones I have seen in their promotional videos like yours. The one I ordered in fairness was a "B" stock, but when it arrived it clearly was new and had never been played, the PAF finish was nothing like the images on their web site, this did not concern me, so I presumed that was why it was classed as "B" stock, they said they could not replace this PAF model so I said I would be happy with any SC-550 II, which they declined. Of course I incurred all the costs of the repair to the graphite nut and travelling costs to my city post office three times, because now they have asked me to return the hard case which I bought specifically to look after the guitar, and it is perfect. I have to question do they send perfect models to reviewers? I particularly like your video, you are an exceptional guitarist,Kind regards,John.

Yes it is a very lovely and well built guitar, at only $398 Canadian dollars, my God a entry level gibson costs $1749 canadian, and that is the Gibson Les Paul Tribute, nope won't be wasting my money on that thing! Again. thanks for your awesome guitar playing!

Oh my - you sound so good that I forgot we were highlighting a Harley Benton guitar - I'm afraid that your skill level is so high that even a bad guitar will sound great . That being said ... the HB SC 550 sounds and looks great.
Again brilliantly played, could you just put talcum powder on the back of the neck to stop your hand sticking to the gloss finish, also I think it would look better with the old gold volume/tone knobs.
I bought an Epiphone LP plus some 10 years ago made in Indonesia and was well impressed with the quality but it cost £400.00 In comparison HBs are a steal.
Great video and play, I ordered the same guitar sc-550 bcf but still have to wait for about 2 months before I can receive. Many delays but it's worth waiting for it.

Great job. I have the exact same version of guitar as you, same colour too. I changed the tuners to Wilkinson tuners and wasn't keen of the bridge pickup, so changed that too. Apart from that, great guitar

Nice guitar, I like how they have done the carve on the neck joint rather than the usual block style. Great finish, that AAA flame maple top in that black cherry finish with the gold hardware, nice 👍. Sounds great too with those pickups

Just found this channel, because I'm interested in this guitar (and colour) I think you sold it for me. Subscribing because the playing was both technically impressive but kmore importantly soulful and beautiful. Half the revieweres cam barely play and you wonder why they have 50 guitars and 5 Plexis (god I want a mini Plexi...).
Hello from Spain. Your video and many others convinced me to buy an SC-550 II PAF. Unfortunately mine arrived unplayable, the graphite but set very high made playing even simple chords impossible without intonation problems. I had that fixed at my cost but then the selector switch failed and the bridge volume & tone control failed. I returned the guitar for repair. When I got it back the selector switch was OK but then both the volume and tone controls for both pick ups were not working. I returned the guitar again and yesterday they gave me my money back.What concerns me is most of the Harley Benton paid reviews seem to get perfect instruments? I just wish I had the confidence to order another, because clearly you got a great guitar.Kind regards, J

Looks and sounds like a nice LP copy to me. Def a viable guitar for sure! But I'll stick with my Epiphone LP standard with Gibson burstbuckers (2 neck, 3 bridge).
Hi again from Spain. I took your advice and wrote a personal letter to Johann Thomann and got an immediate response. They replaced the SC-550 II PAF which was a really great guitar on arrival but within a week the selector switch failed so I returned it. It took DHL 5 weeks to return the guitar to Thomann in Germany, they acknowledged receipt of the guitar for repair on the 28th.November 2022. The original SC-550 II PAF I ordered on the 29th.May 2022 and today the 2nd.December 2022 I have still not got my guitar. I just hope I get my guitar back before Christmas!! Thomann's quality control is very poor. 6 months after I purchased my SC-550 II I still have no idea when I will get it back.......working! I do think you are a fantastic guitarist!!!
