I saw Los lobos in livingston, Montana in the 90s with Cheryl Crow. It was an open air concert in Sacajawea Park by the Yellowstone River. It was great.
Last time I saw LL, Cesar entered the theater through the front doors with all the paying fans. He was searched and shook down like everybody else. The staff had no idea at all who he was. Venue was Fox Theater in Visalia, Ca. just prior to Covid.

Saw them about a year earlier in Wilmington NC...they were not nearly as powerful as they are in this footage, but very good nonetheless. They are all playing mostly Fender here...they played Gibson when I saw them...except Conrad...
David Hidalgo is a musical superhero. He can do the blues with ANYONE. He makes that Strat cry!
Los Lobos are an American treasure
And Mexican too

Nobody better. They’ve got it all.
It's a crime they're not bigger!
Pre Steve Berlin magic from Another Band from East LA! Doing it saxless!
ROCK and ROLL at it's finest
yes.... was just ranting elsewhere and was timed out ... but, yes is all I was saying . they got it ..all.. going on!

Except....they didn't play any Buddy Holly songs, at least not in this show. Maybe you're thinking of Ritchie Valens? (La Bamba)

ESPAÑOOOOOOLLLLL !!!!!
Good show, but missing the sax and "fattening" of sound provided by Steve Berlin.
Steve was mia due to some planned surgery.
Yeah I saw a show in DC a couple years ago and Cesar was out sick, really good but not the same. U need the whole band.
The Mexican Grateful Dead.
