Great idea! In the past I've used a shoe tied to a rope to get it over the tree limb - but now I have a higher limb and I can't throw the shoe high enough. The sling shot is a great idea and I am going to try it. Thanks for the video!!

Sling shot would be the funnest part of hanging the tree swing, but I don't have one, my sons dad though did drop off a bow with arrows so I'm trying to work with that now, very interesting, and my neighbors are very entertained today watching me

Could of used a running bowline to get it up there and no one has to climb. Much safer.

In my experience it’s best to use polyester rope. Polypro is not good is constant sun
