- In this video I go through order by order and show you how I average $35 an hour multi-apping over the lunch shift. By using doordash, uber eats, and Grubhub you can make a lot more money than just using one app and hopefully this video will help you do just that. MAKE MORE MONEY!

I have over 10k deliveries and pretty much do the same as you are describing. Only difference is I kill the GPS on my phone for the apps I am not currently delivering for, so people and gig companies can’t see where I am while dropping off and picking up other orders. I 3 app multi-app in sf Bay Area California and this year my average is $41.28hr Jan-Jun 2021. I work 7 hrs per day m-f only lunch and dinner. FYI- for DD you need to pickup and drop off no more than 10min within the scheduled time to avoid the new contract violations feature in the app.

On iphone to kill/pause gps goto settings…scroll to the application ….turn off location setting for that app

I multi app with DD and GH. And thats what my runs are like. B1etween the 2 i avg 25 an hour. One thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to find overlapping zones.

It seems so chaotic!! I only do Instacart right now and I just signed up for UberEats. Im gonna try to manage those 2 and take it from there.

@@moccalatte13 it's okay, I think generally you can make more money with instacart if you are in a busy location. Sometimes I log on when they predict is going to be busy but I get shitty batches and once I drop off. it's dead that's why I started using ubereats in between and it works out.
This is cool and all but wouldn’t it maybe be wiser to only accept fancy restaurant orders rather than doing a bunch of cheap fast food orders? Only reason I’m asking that is because some (not all) fast food places take forever and pretend you don’t exist so it ends up being a waste of time when you could have just drove a tiny bit over to another restaurant / or even a well known food chain like chick fil A / Chipotle that you know for sure won’t take forever.
Edit* like for example, I avoid anything like Wendy’s / Burger King because I just have a gut feeling it’s going to be a waste of time and it’s just too much of a risk for me, but maybe it’s different in every market, maybe there’s only certain Wendy’s / burger kings that you know specifically are fast.

Yeah it is, I’ve asked doordash if it’s okay and they said it’s fine. If I keep their food in a zipped up hot bag in my trunk then he never even comes in contact with the food. Trust me it’s fine👍🏻

I’m way too lazy to multi app, it reminds me too much of real work. Lucky for me my market doesn’t require you to do so in order to make $22-35 an hr.
That's what I was thinkn as well luckily i also live in a city where multi app isnt necessary my 1st time doin uber eats in about 2 hour I was at 24$ an hour

Honestly, I will always use just one app and I’ll tell you why. Because I know how this all works from doing it, as a customer I hate it when the driver is late and the food is cold. I also always get the wrong order and it’s from other apps. It pisses me off as a customer.

Great breakdown on multi-apps! I started DD, Uber Eats and Waitr in the Gulf coast area about a month ago. Unfortunately places like Burger King and Wendy’s require us to pick up from the drive thru as in room dining is still closed for COVID. Ugh…Makes multi-apping difficult with such long lines/wait times.

@@kattsavage973 sorry Mississippi Gulf Coast. Pay is ok. Really depends on the days/time you’re willing to work in order to be profitable.
I do that from time to time. We gotta be careful tho.... My little brother got his DD deactivated because he was sitting still in drive thru for a UE order and he got called by DD from a restricted number and they asked if he was having vehicle problems or something because he had sat still and not moved towards his DD deliveries. He didnt tell them he was multi appung, but i guess they figured it out bc he was deactivated the next week with an email telling him its against policy to use multi delivery apps at the same time as DD. I dont remember reading that anywhere but....it is happening do just be careful. I still do it but only if it is really slow

I went back to watch this video because I gave up on Multi-apping. The two bad ratings I've ever had came from doing it. You say customers will understand if you're not coming straight to their house? I'm not so certain. I'm afraid to get deactivated if I do this again. Everything was on time and hot. The app does tell customers if you are on another delivery so if not, what do you tell them to avoid those bad ratings?
I think it depends on the timing. I think if you’re concerned about it i would do the following (assuming you run 3 apps):
If you’ve accepted a doordash order and have already picked it up i would pause the other apps and just finish up the delivery. If you haven’t picked up the doordash order yet i would pause 1 of the other apps. If you happen to get a good order from the other app you could accept it and try to pick it up first depending on location. There’s a lot that can happen that can make you drive out of the way when picking up and order so a customer seeing this isn’t bad. Driving directly to the doordash restaurant isn’t the issue, it’s obviously driving to the customer. As long as you can find a way to pretty much pick up and drop off the doordash order in back to back steps i wouldn’t worry about multitasking outside of that

I made $197 today on Uber Eats, Door dash, and instacart at about $24 an hour. I also trained my wife who is a brand new dasher how to do it and she did two dashes paying $14 total. Elsa 🌬 is heading my way in south GA so the rain is very good for business!

Today I took a Uber eats order, it’s like almost 8 miles away and shows 12+ dollars for the order, then I perfectly handed the order to the customer, in the end idk why she reduce the tip to $1, so I only getting 5 something for that order. That makes me very angry cuz I was ride on time and nice to the customer…

I Iike the idea of this but in CA we get compensated for mileage if we don’t get paid enough and I’m afraid this will lead me to get deactivated. Anyone in CA tried this?
Since i got a main good paying job i can be choosy .
What ever comes up first and pays good i take it i have Uber Eats ,Doordash,and Grubhub along with Instacart i have a 1and half hour window once i have what i want other apps get turned off this is Monday thru Friday Before my main job with way less stress at end of Sunday night i usually make 400 to 600 working 15 to 20 hours a week doing these gig jobs.
Here in southern California with prop 22 you risk deactivation if you try your strategy here because of the extra mile you tac on and the extra time you tac on that's a no no for the gig apps here.
ok so im not gonna go straight from 1 app to 3 so if i had to chose one should i go grub hub to my 2nd app or uber eats??? Ik they are probably the same but still want opinions.

I feel like I can't rly multi app like that due to how slow everything is in Los Angeles. I can only take on one app at a time but in my down time I see who gets me the goods first.

Do you track each app’s mileage with different mile tracking apps or? Cause I heard you get a 1099 form for each gig platform
I track all of my miles with one app regardless of which delivery app I'm working

@@MrLgarcia97 there's no linking necessary and no splitting up either because you should combine your income from each app, which those apps will provide you before tax season. With this mile tracking app (Stride) just turn it on when you start working and turn it off when you're done. at the end of the year, the app will provide you with your total deduction.
@@incogneter but I heard you have to track your miles seperately since its 2 seperate 1099 SEC forms or something like that i forgot the correct name after 1099 but its somethin like that
I would be willing to bet that DD one for $7.60 had extra on it based on experience and using Para.

I go from like 4pm to 12am sometimes up to 3 or 4am if i keep getting orders. Most ive made was starting at like 11am working til 4am i took a two hour break inbetween and i made $345 that day

If your area is concentrated this can work. It seems you work in an area like that . What is your location?
My area is high population, but spread out. Very suburban. So this will be quite a challenge.
Mine actually is all suburban and fairly spread out. It can work in these types of areas but yes it is a bit more difficult and you need to be even more selective on what orders you take. I’m in a suburb about 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City Utah!

Make sure you are watching the pickup time. I got a contract violation because my UE order made me more than 15 min late for the DD pickup. Now if I see the pickup time slipping away, I cancel the DD order.

It’s pretty much an order that uses your Uber eats debit card to pay. So you have to order it when you get there but I just call ahead so it’s still ready when I get there!

They do but it’s not as defined as doordash’s
GH gives a time or says go directly to restaurant . Typically fast food is go directly and regular restaurants theres a time.

Do you get bad ratings from customers? Some customers like to track the drivers and get mad because they are going a different way or made a stop on the way. I want to multi app but get nervous because of it

Does anyone know what is being ordered from AutoZone? The pay is so tiny I’ve never taken one, but I’m super curious as to what a FOOD delivery company is picking up at a car parts store.
Doordash technically isn’t a good delivery company so they claim, plus they’re in everything now. Making a video on this soon

Awesome vid brotha. I just started using all 3 apps today and it worked out pretty well. I made about $98 in 5 hours. I don't have a huge market but it can be steady. Very good tips!
