@@basstech7747 Advisory Shares are stock options for advisors to purchase in a company. This kind of option is usually exercised in startups where a person (like Lori) can provide feedback and advice in critical areas, like in supply chain or other specialized avenues.
@@johnyg2285 Advisory shares allow for investors to receive additional long term equity in the company, therefore increasing the amount of time that they can make money from the company that they are investing in. Because Advisory shares are given as part of an investment offering and are often offered in lieu of actual shares of stock, this strategy can negate any preponderance of a conflict of interest in the future.

Asking permission for the last counter offer and then coming in with an advisory share component is an absolutely perfect final move in this deal. Wow!!
What is the difference between offering a straight 15% versus 12.5% and a further 2.5% advisory share component? Doesn't that still add up to 15 per cent? I don't understand the difference.
@@almac9203 Yes, it's the same deal in the sense that the same amount of money changes hands for the same percentage of the company. However, the important thing is that the 2.5% advisory shares is not factored into the company's valuation. So in the former deal the sharks and the entrepreneurs agree that the company is worth 833k, whereas in the latter deal they agree that the company is worth one million. It's an optics thing. Well said. And Lori is always respectful of the people of the show, she completely shuts down when they start fighting with the men.
Whatever Michelle does, she will absolutely rock. She founded another company before this. You can definitely tell she's seasoned in sales and has had these types of conversations many times before.
She'll have a future seat as a shark in a few years if she keeps it up.
She's seasoned in sales
Sales will rise
Her presentation wasn't cheesy
I see them making some dough
Lori was on Ellen. She had the pizza cups with her. Million dollars in sales in one week after appearing on Shark Tank!
Michelle made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when she negotiated that 2.5% advisory offer to Lori! Kudos!!
What did she mean by advisory offer the 2.5%
@@basstech7747 Advisory Shares are stock options for advisors to purchase in a company. This kind of option is usually exercised in startups where a person (like Lori) can provide feedback and advice in critical areas, like in supply chain or other specialized avenues.
@@jamesparlevliet8840 still confused. how is that more beneficial for Lori?
@@johnyg2285 Advisory shares allow for investors to receive additional long term equity in the company, therefore increasing the amount of time that they can make money from the company that they are investing in. Because Advisory shares are given as part of an investment offering and are often offered in lieu of actual shares of stock, this strategy can negate any preponderance of a conflict of interest in the future.
So Lori will still have to pay for them at the most recent valuation right?
Lori is so humble and patient and understanding i love her..
Yes, she's awesome.
Imagine arguing THAT with Robert.
She wouldn't last a second.
Whenever the business owners are given deals by the sharks, I always think “take the deal”! This is the first time that I look to Lori and go “take the deal Lori!” Michelle knocked it right out of the park with her negotiating skills, and I wish nothing but success in her and her husband’s future!
When a man Finds a WOMAN like her..He finds a good thing…Lesson of the day: KNOW YOUR WORTH & NEVER forget it🔥
and she steals his product and then divorces him....and takes the majority. welcome to the usa guys.
@@lightsdarkness7714 steals his product?…right…because she’s a woman she couldn’t have contributed anything measurable enough to the business worthy of getting something fairly if their relationship were to fail
@@lightsdarkness7714 murica fuck yea
The girl made me smile, this guy will never be poor with this girl by his side. Lucky you boy.
They are so amazing!!! We just found them at our local Kroger in Michigan they are actually unlike any pizza you will have! I cannot praise them more!
Barbara met them after the show to say She was out 😂
Really?
LOL!!
@@suwuhuang2151 - Barbara is the other lady who wasn't there this episode.
🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Michelle wanted to walk out of the show saying that they have a million-dollar company, which could be useful for marketing, attracting other investors, etc. Smart move, I think.
@@brahmani12 thanks for the breakdown. that was helpful.
@@brahmani12 it still adds up to 15% ownership so it was all for nothin imo standing on that hill when ure the one asking for help is how most of these guys got kicked out but they know the idea will make them rich so they played some ball. wdym 2.5% advisory doesnt add up to the evaluation? its literally ownership of company shares and company ownership. the first percentage and the second advisory. maybe she can sell that 2.5% before other investors if anything id assume but that makes no sense then
Mark's "congratulations" after every deal is everything!
I went to the website, looked at the price and for those reasons, I’m out 😂
Haters gonna hate
these are SO GOOD!
Deb Mccarthy Yea they look good, I’ll try them if I see them at a grocery store
yea its dumb, they also already exist in europe for 1/4 of the price
$25 for a box thats the size of lil debbie $2.19 cupcakes. they can suck $25 italian sausages
*That was insanely impressive, I had no idea what she was talking about but Michelle should be VERY proud of herself - she knew her stuff!*
I like how she knew her number and Bantam’s numbers so she used that to her advantage to position herself to negotiate better, awesome job.
They need to get into grocery stores. It's a little too pricey to ship. I'd buy a box or two, but at $80 for 36 of these - it's a rare treat. This is like a once a year purchase.
premium shit - people with money will buy em mate .
@@ROCKYBOYZONE i don't have money and i buy a box when they have free shipping and my kids and i eat 1 a month. they are THAT amazing!
If your willing to buy this email me I'll whip you up some pizza cupcakes hell even some pizza rolls and pizza doritos send me money just $40 $50 will do
@@b94new send me your dollars too I got some pizza rolls for your brilliant self as well lmfao
Yea, when it comes to food people still go to the local grocery shops.
Kevin was just enjoying the pizza cupcakes, i even forgot he was in the episode 😂😂
Yeah no dead to me in this episode
😄
Exactly he was just eating everything
Wow! That woman is a soon to be at the top of business. She knows her numbers. I got worried a bit she kept insisting but she kept coming with hard straight facts! That dude nailed the lotto with her. congratulations to both!
they already sold the company for $34million
This lady knows what she's doing.. Her negotiation skills are brilliant.
Love the pizza mascot. That person was experienced and knew how to sell it even tho they hit the table. Yeah, that woman knew her numbers and was prepared. Glad they got a deal with Lori.
You could tell on Lori's face she was very impressed with that final counteroffer. I think she was prepared to get out of the deal with anything less than what she asked, but Michelle really displayed some great negotiation skills at the end.
Man, that guy is fucking lucky to have her as his wife. She's fucking smart, able to communicate and negotiate well
She’s adorable! It’s always about numbers. Numbers explain the world. Always negotiate. Even if you are tiny- USE your voice. 🙏💕
Yup!! She is small in height but when she started to negotiate I was looking up to her!!! And she did it with such determination without coming across arrogant. I loved it. She was great.
@@stevenayala680 💯💯Perfectly said. Shes a badass women. U gotta be lucky to find a girl like that lmao
What I like about this episode is the negotiation at the last part.. It is Gold! Dealing, countering without being rude or boastful. Has respect and very sharp for both lori & michelle. Wow amazing!
that girl knew her stuff.. she's def the brains of the operations.. WOW.
She knew her stuff and went around a few corners but figured it out and got the deal! For a minute I was thinking she might lose the deal by continually making counter offers! Congrats!!
She knows on a deep psychological level how to negotiate. That was art
I love her! She’s very smart for negotiating the deal like she did.
Michelle is a superstar. She gave me chills. She knows what she has, and she knows what her business is worth.
She squeezed her so much , she didn’t go and hug her, a first .
She could be a shark sooner or later with her negotiation skills and determination to get the best deal. Loved the look on the shark after the last counter she had.
As a CEO of a company - I think Michelle did a brilliant job. Her entrance was a little too bubbley for my liking - but she really did an amazing job of selling and negotiating.
It's the height disparity between her and her husband that sort of made it come across like that.
Which. Company
What company you're CEO of? Levy's matzah balls food truck?
@@MichaelJohnson-xn7ye why you gotta hate tho?

Lori's reaction.. I bet the girl reminded Lori of herself when she was young doing business, she took the deal so quick.
Lol she got some guts to put up so much counter offers
a dog has guts to bite if someone attacks it. thats all she was doing, going off of her primal instincts.
Perfect example of knowing your worth, sticking to your guns and being confident in yourself & your business model
2:50 The cut away to Kevin stuffing his face with the product was perfect 😂
Wow....I dont usually watch shows like this but man does Michelle have game....I really wish this couple all the best and all the success....It will be well deserved....hopefully I will find pizza cupcakes in Australia someday...
That woman is one of the best negotiators I seen on the Tank
Barbara: I'm not even in this episode but I'm out
This one got me 🤣
Lol 🤣
I love how the mascot is bobbing up and down the whole time
I'm definitely in love with the MASCOT! So CUTE! Especially when it accidentally hit the boxes!
Yes, absolutely LOVED the mascot!! Love how the mascot kept right on doing the dance moves without missing a beat after knocking over some of the boxes. Freaking adorable!! 😂🤣
Little do the sharks know, Pizza Guy is actually running the business and the two pitching it are just the salesman. A true mastermind.
Yeah they didn’t even ask how munch equity they had in the company.
Really?
Seriously
yea, also this already exists in europe for 1/4 of the price.
Damn I’m impressed with her negotiating skills. Did her homework and knows what she’s talking about. She deserved every bit of this offer.
This woman is incredible. She knows what she's doing in the numbers and based on the sharks reaction her husband know what to do their product really well. They'll succeed for sure!
I like the way Lori smiled at the end like she appreciated how smart the girl was
Got to love how enthusiastic that lady is. Michelle is precious! I'd hire her for my business in a minute. Glad it worked out for them. This is an example of how great America is for starting a business esp if you are as creative as this couple imo.
The negotiation was so impressive and that is probably the biggest reason why Lori said yes. Amazing Enterprenuership right there!!
I have eaten probably a HUNDRED of these pizza cupcakes, and they're amazing!! They're so freaking delicious - gooey mozzarella, that delicious sauce and the light and flaky dough.
Looked so good - searching the web to find out where I can buy these right now!
Yeah!? Well, I will just have to try me one!😋
where do I get some? feeling mighty hungry for some now that i’ve seen it
I must 🤤
They’re very good. I’m so glad my local Shop-Rite has them 😊
Holy hell. I thought she might talk her way out of it but obviously knew what she was talking about unlike so many before her. I don't even know what a 2.5% advisory offer is but I was impressed nonetheless.
I know most here are talking about Michelle, but can we just take a moment to appreciate the guy too. He knows she's well prepared and skilled at negotiation and let her do her thing. These two are perfect for each other!
She was impressive and they're going to be huge
These two ladies negotiating hard while respectful of each other. Impressive!
This couple is really matched each other. The husband is the chef and the wife is ceo. So envy with them
11:54 the pizza cupcake walking out of the shark tank like a gangsta acting like if it was responsible for the deal.
LITERALLY THO LOL
That girl is a boss! Love to see more female leaders/entrepreneurs showcased on this show.
