I JUST SAW THAT I HAD THIS IN MY OEKSOUND 'DOWNLOADS' TAB AFTER PURCHASING SOOTHE AT THE TIME I GOT IT . THANKS FOR THE INFO ! I'M GOING TO PLAY WITH IT RIGHT NOW!👍😃
@@deejschmidt yeah i know, but i mean in just one instance it would be easier to really modify a sound to what u like instead of switching back and forth between multiple instances.
Multiband would leave the transient alone and affect the tail; Spiff affects the transient and leaves the tail alone Soothe is auto eq and resonance control that affects the entire signal at all times, spiff in cut mode is affecting transient only. Basically frequency-specific limiting. Hope this helps
It’s on Black Friday sale right now. Just picked it up. Soothe is indispensable for me. I suspect this will be useful but probably not as singular as Soothe. It’s a brilliant processor though. I’ll end up buying whatever Oeksound puts out next too haha
Oeksound is just changing the game with their plugins, soothe is just AMAZING

This plugin looks very useful, thanks for the review
We’re going to take a look at Soothie next, stay tuned
Great i just buy it a few days ago i will like to see your point of you on it!
wish u could cut and boost at the same time so u can really change the sound entirely... but besides that it's a great plugin.
I've done that with multipe instances on diffrent tracks, Sends/recieves etc..

@@DJALVARO Yeah a per band boost/cut function like Fab Filter Pro Q3's would be REALLY tight, maybe in a future update
Yeah that is definitely something it's missing
Can someone please explain how spiff is different to a multiband compressor in 'boost' mode, and soothe in 'cut' mode??

Great video.
thanks Dan
what the difference to neutrons transient shaper? looks like you can achieve the same results
Spiff looks nicer and more flexible, but I agree you could probably do exactly the same with Neutron (or Alloy), the three bands are more than enough.
Your voice and accept makes me wanna buy this more. Oeksound should give you a royalty, and you should narrate shit like GPSs hahaha
god this sounds so good
I'm afraid to download the demo, because I'll probably love it-but I can't afford it, so then I'll be sad ;'(
me rn
wintersix I got it but now I’m broke again. After buying soothe and spiff both lol
@@ilandzmusic7848 I bought it - worth it!
wintersix it transforms tracks tbh such a great tool.

Great review.
Great vid, thanks!
Uyyy I’m so exited i will get it no doubt
Song?
Me: (curious) Dan's voice sounds kinda soothed and spiffed....
"Excuse me sir, your voice sounds soothed and spiffed"
so is this basically the best transient designer out there?
so what's the difference between this and Soothe? This also boosts and not just cut?
Soothe reduces harshness, spiff is a transient and sustain shaper
Ma se ci parlate sopra come pensate si capisca qualcosa.?
I want this but I'm poor
Just like you im poor but i buy it, you could do it too fam, believe in your self!!
Black Friday Sale its looking more affordable
Spectralayers Pro 7 is better for this.
