That looked like such a great day. It looked so beautiful as all 3 landed on you being different macaws with their own unique colour. Your relationship with them is inspiring
Love seeing your beautiful birds and the patience and respect you give them. Can I ask what the reactive of the native birds is when your birds are flying. Do other species see yours as predators and do they run the risk of being mobbed?
What a great video! I saw a link to it from Mikey & Mia's. Oh. My. Gosh I want to move to England * S O B A D * so my B&G and Greenwing can go flying with you all!! That looks like a blast! Of course I'd have to train them to come back first - LOL. I've never experimented with teaching them to free fly but would love to do it. I sure hope you don't have ticks there or anything in the grass that could hurt your fids. One time I was giving my two a bath and as the feathers got wet on my B&G, I could see that there was a tick that had latched onto his head! I had to get tweezers and pluck it out, which was very difficult because they really lock onto the skin, and with it being so thin on macaws, I really had to be very careful not to tear it. I had to wrap him in a towel and have my mom help me, but fortunately he didn't fight me any and seemed to know we were just trying to help him. My B&G used to like to walk around in the grass, and that's obviously how he got it. If anyone reading this has birds and lives in an area with ticks, I would *strongly strongly* recommend not letting them do it because of the possibility of getting Lyme Disease. I presume birds can get it too, and if they did, it's doubtful we'd know, and believe me that's one disease you definitely never want to get! Anyway, if I maybe wanted to think about doing some free-flight training, what would you suggest? And BTW, I've tried putting harnesses on both of mine and neither one would stand for it! And as soon as their beaks found the clasp/latch, it was instantly destroyed. So much for the harness idea. My B&G also likes to destroy new Mercedes Benz car seats too - LOL. At least that was the story I heard before I ended up rescuing him from a really bad situation.
Nice that you would like to fly them! It’s a great lifestyle for birds and people just not for everyone. Ticks are always going to be a problem with all animals and humans we just have to be very aware. I advise doing as much research as possible and getting some professional advice. Keep safe

Amy has telemetry on her birds when they fly. Have you considered that or is their training enough? I realize the species are very different and have different flying habits.
I'm so in love with these guys! Can't wait to see them properly 😍
Really looking forward to lockdown being over to meet up!!
I'm here because of Amy! Thanks for the suggestion! 🐦
Omg. Cross over craziness
I’m here because of Amy as well.

Amazing.
The bathing scenes remind me of my wood pidgeons in the rain. They sit for hours on the fence and getting rained on.
Thank you for that lad, made my day.
This was very cool to watch! They are so lovely 😊 I loved when they were following along on the fence! ❤️Great job!
oh my god, so beautiful
Showed off Arora's tail nicely against the others.
That tail is just the best!
Blue throats are the most mechanically inclined of all the parrots. They are like little engineers
WHAT A LIFE! I have 7, over 45 years I've had 40 between Hawaii, Ca, & Puerto Rico
Parrots also have their emotional feelings like us during these quarantine isolation lockdown
What a glorious sight! What must the neighbors think when a great big parrot glides over their house?
It's so exciting to see macaws being able to fly outside instead of being stuck in a tiny cage in a pet store

The birds here in the uk don’t even look at them, they all just keep out the way.
CRAIGS CRAZY FLOCK Thank you so much. Fascinating :) I bet our poor drab native birds are jealous of your glamorous and beautiful flock.

Yes mate! Didn't know you done videos!!
Well I hope you enjoy them ☺️
Please let me come play with you and the birds! I’ll help clean and feed them 😭
Do you ever worry about predatory Birds when free flying your birds and do they react ??
Great question the birds of prey in my area are minimal and if they are in the sky we don’t fly!
@@craigscrazyflock3810 thankyou where i am birds off prey are everywhere i have an african grey and would love to fly him but dont think its possible 😣
I was going to ask the same question.
How young would you start one free flying
