  • Close to the border with France, we find this Italian town that inspired the impressionist painter Claude Monet, its old town is made up of countless labyrinthine streets, with countless doors that lead to endless stairs since it seems that every room has its own staircase and not a shared one.
Each alley is different, it's magical. Another remarkable element is the verticality of the streets, they are all tall buildings that with enough work let the light of day through, they are full of vaults, buttresses and tunnels. All this makes up a chaos that becomes art and beauty. That is why it has become a nucleus of artists.
Apart from the streets, the Romanesque bridge and the Doria castle above the town, and the church of Saint Anthony Abbot are also noteworthy.
