The part where they both say "I love you" at 11:00 is confusing because of the translation. Hori says "suki da" which can mean "i like/love you" but at the beginning of a sentence it means "I like/love ...", like how she corrected herself into saying "I love your hands". When Miyamura then says "suki dayo", the subtitles translate it as "I love you", but the phrase can also be used to refer to something they talked about before, in this case hori's hands. It has a double meaning ofcourse, but they didn't clearly state that they love each other yet, it's just heavily implied. Hope that clears things up a bit. Enjoying the reactions btw :)
This is hecking old, so it might be pointless now lol. But the thing Miyamora had under the desk was a tack. His piercings are all his form of self harm, that's why he did them all himself. When hori came over he was starting to stab himself with the tack he dropped. It's his way of self harming.
