I absolutely love seeing somebody else using studio one. More people need to use it

Many thanks for that. I am now going back to change a mix I have just done as I now realise that I have applied an effect incorrectly :P

@@DexxterClarkMusic I was trying to give some 'life' to some sounds in a track and I was applying some reverb (albeit with the settings turned right down) whereas I now realise I probably should have been applying delay.

Fabfilter is an amazing plugin maker.
I'm not sponsored to say this and it's not often that I'm raving about software, but in this case ...
I don't have many plugins, but from Fabfilter, I have the complete plugin bundle.

Mate u are the best. I was reading something that u wrote about pcs and RAM.
Found your channel and then this.
Mate this explains a lot, the best tutorial ever about production effects.
    Many thanks

I know this vid is pretty old, not sure you will see this, but when you talk about having high, mid, and low layers for the melody, did you achieve that by just taking one track duplicating it and pitching it up and down, or do you move the actual midi notes to be higher and lower octaves on the piano roll?

@@benbollinger3183 i assume you’ve already found out by now but i see most ppl doing it on midi
