I remember when they brought out the trailer revealing the 60th Anniversary Episode Titles and behind each title was the NuWho original Vortex from 9/10s Era and I read several comments by fans theorising that the original title sequence of 2005 was returning along with RTD; obviously that never happened but this is definitely a good concept of how it would've gone and actually fits quite well, good job. ☺️
Yeah I tried it but couldn’t get it to look right so reverted back to the standard for S3/4. I don’t know if it’s because Billie Piper’s name is bizarrely on a single line in S1/2 but the stacked format coming from the right just looks a bit off.
Not relevant but I’m pretty sure John Logie Baird made the first television broadcast from the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow not Soho in London. Or am I missing something? 🤔
Ngl, I feel like they should’ve had the new intro for ncuti and used David’s old one for The 60th specials but i get why they didn’t David being a different doctor and all
@@TheHufflepuffSaint it was changed a little for Series 2 and 3, it had a bit more bombast and orchestra in it, as well as the end credits using the middle eight, which was not present in Series 1 and that version is a lot more subdued
@@barney9456 The theme was re-recorded for The Christmas Invasion as the National Orchestra of Wales came on board to record music for the show. It's pretty much the same for the intro, but the closing music differs and of course we have the inclusion of the middle eight. Whilst I really liked Series 1's theme, adding those orchestral elements which brought out the oomph and made it a lot more exciting and adventurous and to this day, it's still one of my favourites.
The touch of the doctors credit not being “The Doctor” but “Doctor Who” is perfect

BTW the Ninth Doctor (and Series 2) companion and guest names turn from the right, only the Doctor's name turns from the left

Technically this was Tennant's intro theme in Series 2 and 3. It wasn't changed until 2008's Series 4.
