Dungeons still mostly work similar to how levels worked in Mario 64.

91 Stars are done in this game so far. The final game will probably have around 130 Stars. This project turned out to be pretty big afterall.

Wouldn't this make a good replacement for the fast movement ability? Seems like you could just make Yoshi run a bit faster and that move would no longer be necessary.

This is beautiful. I love how creative you're getting, having Mario's agility be a core mechanic, the NPCs with a personality correspondent to their origins, the overworld being vast and more open than most paintings could be in sm64 and how these two loved games (probably most people's 2 top N64 picks) are interacting with each other. I don't mean to rush you, but I can barely wait!

And surprise boss battle. I like how unexpected this was. You would think that these Giant Swoops were just NPCs but then you find out they are taking part in a blood harvesting ring for Yoshis presumably under orders of Bowser to get rid of the Yoshis but they pass themselves off as friendly ranch owners. Bowser probably hates how Yoshis were always helping Mario out so he just ordered some his goons to get rid of them.

I'm going to play this for sure when it's uploaded. I was worried about the camera angle in Hyrule Field (or whatever it's gonna be called in the final version), but as far as I've seen, it looks like it can be easily adjusted to make the visuals pretty clear.

I don't know how much effort, or space it would take but would it be possible to make the yoshis different colors (and all rideable) like the Yoshis in their games?
SoulPhantom he had a way to switch the colors in last impact I'd imagine he'd put in this game too.
Fighting the bats looks just as fun as fighting the giant spider in Last Impact!

1:34 I believe this should be Yoshis' blood, as it's the blood of multiple Yoshis.
1:39 'No one' is two words. Also, neither of the commas is needed there.

I think to make the yoshi more rewarding, you should make him way faster than Mario can goo even by doing long jumps and dives

Damn Yoshi is slower than Epona! Are you gonna increase his speed value at all? Anyways, the hack looks great and I cant wait to try it.
Maybe for the past you can remove Mario’s clothes because he didn’t have the coin to pay for them at the time.
Maybe for the future you can make Mario a black hole because of all the stars he’s absorbed over the years.
Mario needs additional animation while riding yoshi. Might I suggest bouncing his torso and hat a bit

Hey what if all the Yoshi's in the ranch are a different color? It looks kinda bland with all of them looking the same.
You could even have all of them be rideable so we can choose our favorite color!
Heck, maybe they could even have different abilities and stats, like how fast can they run, jump, and how long can they flutter!
Yoshi from last impact is back! One suggestion, I know the grass texture can't be as good as oot because sm64 lacks multitexturing, but if you could somehow improve it, looks very ugly right now.
