Nice meeting you today Nick and seeing how its all done , thank you mate .
What an incredible looking stadium, As a chelsea fan I am slightly jealous 😂. Brilliant drone footage 🙌
Nick, youve been tremendous at keeping us blues informed with your tireless work.. i hope the club appreciate your selfless efforts. You deserve at least a free stone on everton way.
It's one of the best looking stadiums I've ever seen, looks like a museum or an art gallery.
Impressive design, looks nothng like a typical photocopied stadium designs, bravo.
I worry about the narrowness of the egress paths around the sides at fulltime though, they look so narrow.
Very unique. Bravo Toffees
Malky, you worry unnecessarily. The perspective from a drone is not the same as actual measurements: it's larger than you may think.
The width of the north concourse is about 10m wide, which is the same as a 3-lane standard motorway, and the width of the south concourse is a little short of 30m wide. There will be no access to Home Fans along the north concourse and only a few Away Fans exiting at the NNE corner.
There will be no vehicle movements during that time and not all fans will be rushing out due to the hospitality and entertainment set-ups.
Stadium just looks better and better each time you post Nic! COYB💙
Stadium is looking great in the sunshine mate isn't it. Massive thanks for consistently getting down there to film it all and show the rest of the world the progress over time of our beautiful new stadium. Certainly keeps us scousers in Jersey, Channel Islands up to date. 👍 Thanks Nick. Much appreciated.
great fly round of ground thanks for vlogs
Another superb video Mr D keep up the good work 😊 UTFT
Fab as always, Nick. Thanks! UTFT!💙
I can’t wait to get in there 👏👍
2 weeks tonight. So looking forward to be in there.
Hi Nick, great result at the weekend, we are on cloud nine at the moment Hope we keep driving on till the end of the season. I was at the match on Saturday and dropped down to Bramley Moore before the match. Had a couple of pints in the bramley Moore and while in there I noticed a brand new Chimney pot on top of the main Pillar outside the stadium. Keep up the video work. Regards Stephen Harland.
Cheers Nick. 9am to 3am. Just realised what those heritage railway tracks are for. Its to cart all the unconscious away from the stadium in the early hours isn't it!😴
5:09 looks 👌😌
Hi Nick. Great vid as always. I imagine the bar licence will be to cover them for functions etc in the suites and lounges. Also concerts may go on quite late but mainly the functions like weddings, birthdays or any kind of party really.
Nice to see the Toffees get a new ground.........looks great , now put a team out worthy of it.
Fellow bluenose. Don't get to games nowadays, but went and got some drone pics myself with my mini 4 in the afternoon, but was flat and drab by then.
Can you please fly really close around the Pumphouse to see if Everton have begun fitting it out for any purpose and whether the new shop on premises has been fitted out? To hopefully something better than the crap shop at Goodison. Thanks Nick
Hi Nick, again 2/2/25 not 24 Birmingham Blue Keep Right On
Awesome stadium. Will you be doing a video on the first test match mate?
Good one fella
A red from mossley hill… I don’t like the cladding but understand why they done it that way, everything else is great. It looks completely different ‘in the flesh’ especially the view when you walk from town along the front until the roundabout by the itialian bakery. That wrap around of the cladding looks fantastic on the south stand and will surprise a few seeing it for the first time. But, the best thing for me is inside and how it looks like a pure modern football ground. Pleased that you can now enjoy the finishing touches without the Championship worries. Good luck you bunch of meths 😂
It's meff you meff 😏
@ in mossley hill it’s Meths… joking 😝
Mr Drone, you are Boss Mate. I am Lifelong RED but for me you are such a massive credit to the Blue half. You must be chuffed with Mr. Moyes coming back and giving things a Big Shake up. So if anyone deserved a seat in your Amazing new stadium it was you. Your better half should have had one as well. You are Blue Supporter of the year. Thanks for all the Amazing Vids all winds weather your out there. Best of all you even did Anfield Road and Main Stand for us. You are Brilliant mate.
My only reservation about Bramley Moore, it is too close to the Mersey which is an incredibly dangerous River and the Dock. Get some moronic fights and it could get very ugly very quickly? Everton Security will have to be top notch. Do you know if they will erect any Fencing to guard against this?
Keep up your great work. I even enjoy the amazing shots of Dock area and the amazing Mersey. Gateway to America such massive of the City born of the River. Cheers Mate enjoy next season in your posh seat you deserve it!
Iy looks like there's work to be done at SE corner too. Scaffolding piled up on roof already
Hi Nick
Another amazing video, I see they are getting on well with the name plates along the "Everton Walk", also see they are getting on well with the fitting out and what is the wet area from the old dock wall to the east side doors.
Stephen
Stephen: the water to which you're referring is some run-off from just to the north of the East Stand Main Portal that follows the contour/gradient to the old dock wall. Why there is a little run-off is not easily explained as all rainwater reclamation should be taking the water in pipes down underground and out to the tanks located under the plaza and between the Pump House and the ENE corner of the stadium.
looks great .
Not the surrounding streets though. Full of garbage that never seems to be taken away 😢
Looking really good now isn’t it mate
Wow the new lady is looking beautiful.thank you mister drone.whats she gonna look like with a sea of loyal blues. Just beautiful.
By now you will all know 4-0,COYFT. Another great video Nick ,Looks cold out there, but you looked nice and worm but your mate had a thin jacket one.Ta mate.
It's 2025 buddy 😂 great video again
Have you thought about doing a joint show at the new ground with Ped and Baz from ToffeeTV?
Hi Nick. The scaffolding on the North stand must be for something major. Can you verify what's it for. And the scaffolding on the South stand. As well as the red forever stones, you would of thought they would have been blue.
The 'red forever' stones is just a temporary protective covering over the more expensive stones. Underneath the stones are grey and the logos are blue.
Andrew: the orange plastic covers are just protection for the larger Memorial Stones enscriptions. When they remove the sheet, they'll reveal the light and dark grey as with the others.
@davidbadcock2225 Thanks David. They look red on Nick's camera. Do you know what the scaffolding is for??
@@rosse6705 Thanks. You would have thought they would have been blue.
@@andrewackers5470 Re the scaffolding; no, I don't. the vaccum of information from EFC is allowing people to fill the void with wild theories, of course. the fact that tehy have erected 2 floors of planking already suggests there is low-level work as well as work at height. There are definitely light fittings stored on the north stand roof, which is a probable clue, but I do wonder if they're going to erect some new feature not seen on any plans.
Feels good to be a blue atm . Long may it continue. UTFT!
Will there be a second LED light ring?
thats going to be for concerts and events
All that scaffolding on the NE corner of the East Stand looks like remedial works are ongoing. Is it to do with the roof drainage on the East Stand? Now also lots of materials on SE corner of the East Stand. What's going on there?
I heard painting the steels because they can't use a cherry picker
I heard that a subcontractor had used lower quality materials on roof joints, against the advice of the main steel contractor, which began to discolour very quickly, and for which they are liable to put right. And there's a lot of them!
Maybe that's why the scaffolding is going all the way round the stadium? In which case Everton are not paying for it, if that's what these works are for.
@@nickwaters3176 A genuine, valid, insider source and not an outlier guess to stir things up? It doesn't explain why you'd need 2 floors of planking below the bottom level of the barrel-cladding.
@@nickwaters3176 Its the paint that was supplied to the steel contractor cat 5 supplied but should have been cat 6 due to salt air as your close to coast. Costing £6 million to remedy, got to be stripped off and re applied.
01:42 - I’m not a grass, but you went through a red light 😉
😂😂seen that
Are you Rebekah Vardy
Just had a thought do think where they are digging Laing o rourke huts were will be an extension of Everton way?
I’m not sure Toffee as I know they did extend it but I think it may have stretched up further towards the West stand.
Nick: still no response from EFC about the reason for all the scaffolding? They need to get a grip as the longer the silence goes on, the more the uninformed will want to fill the void with ever more wild and negative theories. The silence is starting to get deafening.
PoI's:
1) @ 2:43 mins, they have fitted rails in front of the doors of the main East Stand portal.
2) @ 3:31 mins, I am sure it's just the low-level sunlight on the chimney-pot of the southern central Tower Gate House but I was wondering for a moment if the lark had got his cone up there. The pavement outside of the wall cut-throughs is looking smarter now with fresh asphalt.
3) @ 3:44 mins, have they been breaking up the concrete that was the foundation of the LoR office block at the southern end of it?
4) @ 4:21 mins, I wonder if the empty frames amongst the memorial stones are set aside for the 'Legends' stones.
5) @ 5:37 mins, interesting to see a SIS Grass Lorry parked up on the West Quay. Has it brought additional material such as seed or nutrients or equipment, I wonder.
6) @ 6:04 mins, Yes, at long last, they've fitted the final section of the Lower Promenade Capping Beam.
7) @ 6:45 - 6:49 mins, judging by the reflection of the north stand roof lip on top of the portakabin offices, there is a lot of water sitting on the offices roof.
8) @10:49 mins, it's good to see that the stadium is being set up for being open pretty well all hours (only 6 hrs of closure) for all manner of hospitality and events and that the plazas will have a fairly extensive licence too. I can only assume that will include whatever has been decided for the Pump Hhouse and Hydraulic Tower, as well as 'events' pop-ups.
The club don't NEED to say anything, otherwise they would've. If people wanna create their wild theories & panic, crap their pants.. let them.
@@T0FFII Sure, they don't NEED to, if they're happy being passive. However, IF they want to control the PR and media consequences of a storyline and not be behind the curve, as they have been largely through the whole project, then they should want to get ahead and inform.
👍
Assumption of the 3am licence may be for events and the like hosted in the club rooms.
A couple of questions nick if you don’t mind. Why is there no Everton crests anywhere even on the dug out seats? It could be anyone’s stadium. Also, the process for selecting seats was a joke. Despite bringing my two lads, the next generation of blues, I had to wait until they were eligible and they got no extra tenure as they’re over 28. The club apparently gave the likes of escla preferential treatment. You should make this public
If the games no good you can go have a fish out back.
What is it with the pink & black stripes around the outside?
It is with the fact that you're noticing the black digital advertising boards and the reflection of the pink pitch UV Array lights.
Hard to believe that this time next year this will be our new baby and our beloved Goodison Park will probably be being demolished.
It's 2025 lol not 2024 but great work tho mate 👍🏻
Great looking stadium….BUT not much room for fans on 3 sides….how on earth will they manage the flow. I can see problems.
Why is there a crane back on site?
The crane has been appearing occasionally over the last few weekends to lift scaffolding poles and planks on to the concrete rooves. That's less surprising than the fact there has been no notification as to why they are constructing 3 floors of planking under the NE corner barrel-cladding, for instance.
Booze sales from 6am? How bad is alcoholism amongst Evertonians? To 3AM sounds like they might be opening a nightclub in the ground? Perhaps that's what they are going to do with the pump house?
Maybe parties, weddings, etc
Graham: please concentrate more. The licence is from 0900 hrs, not 0600 hrs. Maybe you got the 6 hrs from the fact that the off-licence period is 0300 hrs to 0900 hrs. And you seem to have missed the point that it'll be open for everyone, not just Toffees.
Thinking about the statues what about Harry Catterick Everton legend 2 league titles 1 F. A. Cup died at goodison 1985 same year as legend big Jock died at Cardiff two football greats.🏐🍀🇮🇪👍🏻C. F. C.
Brian Labone for me.
Hi Nick great video as always , we'll you proper battered us but tbf we were woeful we made you look good mate only joking 👍👌⚽️⚽️
Who paid for it? Is that why Everton is always at the bottom of the EPL ?
Looking very good. Loads of scaffolding on the SE corner roof now too but none at the west side. My guess is that it will be erected along the east side as soon as the naming rights have been sold and the signage needs to go up. I've heard suggestions that it's going to be Qatar Airways. Please NO! I boycotted the Qatar World Cup because of that country's institutionalised bigotry and inequality. Everton is "The People's Club" where all are welcome, not straight white males only. Qatar Airways would not be consistent with our values. Fingers crossed that Friedkin Group can do a really good naming deal using their connections.
I , for one, really hope this "People's Club" name will be consigned to History. Moyes said this when he first cam in and Everton won nothing. And you had better get used to the fact that one Globalised Brand or other will take the Naming Rights. This is a purely commercial decision - it's all about money....
It's not going to be Qatar airways lel. Idk where you see these, if its Facebook I suggest you delete that abomination.
@@T0FFII It was the Liverpool Echo 😂 It was part of Moshiri's unfinished business, fortunately, hence hoping for better from our new owners.
@ What precisely, in your opinion, would be "better"?
I still don't believe they would risk playing a game on that pitch in February. That would be crazy.
Could put some green lino down it'll be OK.
Stadium looks horrible tbf
Best not go then eh.
@IanConcannon don't u worry about that lol
Great stadium, shite team 😂😂😂
