Looove the pixelated battle scene transition in Broken Circle, the battle menu with the blocks reminds me of Lufia also. Which is a major compliment haha.
Your videos are so entertaining, I've been binge watching some old ones again tonight. It's clear you put in a lot of effort and have a passion to match! One of my favourite you tubers, thanks for making them for us. :)
I was on the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney Land when I was a kid. The game looks fun. It was my favorite ride too if I recall. This was many decades ago. ;)
Subscribed and, of course, I hit the bell button for more videos. Fantastic channel. Oh. I also remember Broken Sword, I used to chat with one of the creators on ICQ (popular chat program during the 1990s/2000s). We shared the same publisher but it didn't bring results for either of us; the publisher purchased hundred licenses just to let them sit there when he actually had some jewels in his hands.
That’s cool you knew some of the other devs around the same time! Such a shame that publisher didn’t follow through on their promises. I wonder how many other interesting games never got a release that we don’t know about…
@@RetroBreak I was also in contact with another developer called Studio Archcraft. They created a game on GBA called Black Sigil but it was cancelled; the creator even privately sent me their game engine. Luckily, they managed to port their game on the Nintendo DS.
I would have loved to play that diddy Kong/banjo pilot game. would have blown my mind back then! With it's use of voxel graphics. Also I remember the Eddie Murphy movie haunted mansion. If I recall I enjoyed it. Not seen it since though. Shame about all the cancelled games. Such a waste of time and talent. Glad we get to see what could have been. Blue Angelo looked promising, not heard of the Game park! Great video, really enjoyed it!
Hey! Thanks for checking out the channel! Glad you enjoyed the video! You’re right it’s a shame they didn’t carry on with the voxel engine! It would have been mind blowing at the time!
Soem really interesting games in this video mate thanks for sharing them. And that new game does look kind of cool ;) I have a GP32, nice system buy the controls took some getting used to.
Hey, glad you found the video! I hope to one day be able to find the GP32 game and do a video on it, looks like it was a great game! Shame it didn't get a release on the GBA... Glad you're still making games!
I feel like the haunted mansion game would have been incredible had they turned it into a slow paced survival horror game or maybe an RPG. By the way did you know there's so a cancelled sequel to Flashback / Fade to Black for the GBA? The prototype is floating around the internet
That would have been really cool! It had a lot of promise, maybe Disney didn’t like the idea of it being a horror game… and yeah. I’ve got it on my list of other unreleased games to cover :) originally I had planning to cover all of them in this video but it would have become too long!
I'm considering buying a GBA SP and an everdrive, just wanted to ask if you can put GB/GBC roms on it to play on the GBA (GBA is backwards compatible, but not sure if Everdrive itself supports gb/gbc).
Yes you can play GB / GBC games on the GBA everdrive, but they run through an emulator. I did a video on the GBA Everdrive and show how GB games run on it. th-cam.com/video/epLif4ju4F0/w-d-xo.html
@@RetroBreak Noice! I'll watch it when you upload it. I just subscribed :) Edit: I'm watching it now haha sorry. I didn't see the interview was already up.
You can't support any of the physical rewards for good boy galaxy anymore, it seems i won't be baking it, what a shame since it seems really fun, but if i won't be able to get a gb cartridge I'll just buy it digitally when it's out...
I’d love to back Goodboy Galaxy but who only allows a few physical sakes of their product?? They are all sold out already and it’s only two days in. Too bad. I would have loved to give them my money but they obviously aren’t very business savvy so maybe it’s best I didn’t waste my money. What a bummer.

I have a GP32, nice system buy the controls took some getting used to.
Thanks, which version of the GP32 do you have? Think there's 3, a regular vrsion with no screen light, a front lit version and a backlit version.
I'd be down for buying a digital copy of Broken Circle. Looks very interesting.
Piko should keep their old games for sale! It’s a shame to not even have the option to buy the rom any more
Do you find Broken Circle rom since??
That's me... game #7 and the sad story behind it...
But life is fun.. i still make games thanks for this video

Hey guys, does anyone have Custodian rom link? Is the only one im missing 🙏
I used to have a GP32. I'm sure there was an emu for development.
I’ll have a look, someone said Mame can emulate GP32! I didn’t know that!
