  • You clip on your Neutral Density Filter for a long exposure but your camera shutter time starts blinking because the exposure is over 30 seconds. Don't panic, go into BULB mode and do this.
In this video, I show you how to use BULB mode for long-exposure shots.

Very informative vlog Seb, especially for new comers to L.E. photography, i use Lee filters and my only gripe is the colour cast you get but it is easily rectified in lightroom. Question, does your camera have an E.V. ive been told if not then you have to cover over your eye piece with a cloth or something to avoid light spilling into the sensor. I must admit the final image was just amazing. See you next week

Cheers Jim, when I had my Canon 5dmkii I converted the eye piece so it could black out but I now have E.V on my Canon R so don’t need to 👍😃

Hello :) Another very good video! Do you use the long exposure noise reduction on the Canon R5 when you take the pictures?

Hi Greg, I’m using the Canon R and do not have my noise reduction turned on, although I might give it a try and see its results , thank you mate .

The most confusing bit about ND filters I found was the confusing numbers makers use! Once you work out what the real number of stops is it is a p-o-p.
