    That was an awesome video. Very entertaining! Thanks.
    I'm specifically for stuff on the Speed vs Torque curves in relation to dental handpieces (air turbine ones) but this has given me enough to infer quite a bit from the limited info our lecturer gave us.
    Thanks again!!

    Very simple explanation, the faster the engine spins the less time air can enter the cylinder, therefore the explosions will be less powerful, but still fast.

    When torque and horse power is reduced due to ignition delay,friction and air flow complications why there is no reduction happening in Rpm according to it. It should also decrease no?

      There is, but most engines can rev high enough to sling apart without a rev limiter. You just never rev enough to see the reduced rpm ceiling.
      Most modern two strokes are so reliant on efficiency that they do see an RPM cap without a rev limiter.

    3:30 "so it's quite obvious that if we increase the rpm the torque also increases". My opinion, if we increase the torque, the rpm will increase (with same load).

    less tq at higher rpm. im assuming less power extraction. less time to use the energy in the cylinder, less time to get fuel and mixture perfect etc.

    Hey, in a game called beamng drive I have and “over torque risk and I can’t find out why (the game has all engine parts that real cars and trucks have) I’ve checked my differentials, final drive, transmission, engine, intake, supercharger. And all of it is fine, I had all the same mods apbefore and it was fine but only now that it started getting the torque risk. Is it possible to give me some help on what engine parts I should check?

    I think there is something im not understanding, torque generates the rpm, cant see a scenario where rpm increases and torque decreases. A bigger combustion, bigger torque, bigger rpm.. can someone help please.. i also think the correct statement is if you increase torque you will increase rpm not the other way around

    inertia of air fuel valve time rezonans air in intake exhasut sytem ,inertia of twisitng part like crankshaft piston valve spring which cant go back so fast at certain rpm etc all this eat energy at biger rpm 😉 so such reduce output torque at higher rpm but it dosent matter what really matter is what level of power and torque and at which rpm manufactory want to setup theyr engine once they achieve it the achieve what they want achieve 👍🏻

    Then why don't engines dont stop at that rev and have higher revs available?

    • @omarspiderahmed
      @omarspiderahmed 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because power isn't entirely reliant on Torque. Power = (Torque*RPM)/Constant. Even if you reach max torque and the torque starts dropping off, power can still increase if the rate of increase in RPM is sufficient enough to make up for the decrease in torque. This means that if the torque doesn't drop off too hard, you still make more power past maximum torque - it's how most racing engines and high revving engines make their power. They don't have much torque at all, especially on the low end. However, once the rate of decrease in torque is big enough, you start making less power the higher you rev.
