Looks pretty stinking freaking sweet with the cage in the back I like it, Yep we’re back watching 5:37 PM Thursday couldn’t finish watching the other day
Thanks for finishing
Can’t wait to see it in action
;)
Very informative Ken
Glad it was helpful!
IMO lowering the position of the lower shock mount in this way doesn't offer as good of geometry.
A shock tower is a better option.
I truly enjoy your videos, you're reminding me of things i forgot, and also teaching me new tricks.
Excellent!
Shared your channel with a friend.
He's just getting into RC, and the detail you get into is top level.
Maybe get better lighting for those tough spots, but overall you rock man!
Thanks a ton, and yes, there are many ways to change the shock mounting. I was trying to show without needing to buy new mounts. I also usually mention that leaning the shocks will give more axle travel/articulation but also makes your shocks less effective.
I do need to figure out some lighting that will help from that angle.
Thanks a ton for the share.
Great job 👏🏼 love the idea of the shock relocation gonna have to try it . These trucks sit to high when you upgrade. Thanks again
You bet! Thanks for watching.
I really like it looks awesome, I have four each one different design of tinker tines cages plus the flatbed
I like the half cage. Just wish they made it a single cab. Then it would look killer.
Yeah, I get that, but I really like the 4 door
That was nice control on the down send
Indeed! driver did good.
Yep will catch you later
Awesome ken Just got my orange four-door power wagon love it, watching now 7:36 PM Wednesday
Huge thanks good sir!!! Any plans for your power wagon?
That looks pretty stinking freaking sweet dude, love it I have a couple of those tinker time beds cages whatever. Love the Tip and the shocks I see what you’re talking about well until next time peace and chicken grease 😁👋👋😎
Yeah I was going to tell you Ken , But I didn’t wanna shorten the video 😁😁👍👍😎
Looks good but I'm holding out for a better fitting bed. I mounted up the new Black Labels on my Power Wagon, choice
We need to get some black labels. Just soo many tires and they are like ice cream… flavor of the month.
I'm a newb to RC crawlers and it's way more difficult to mod these things then I was expecting. Especially those Phillips screws. Even something simple like reinstalling the front bumper to my FCX18 and losing the screw in the body over and over again and all the shaking in the world won't dislodge the screw from its hiding spot. I have bunch of parts arriving soon and I'm feeling discouraged to install them.
The fcx18 should be mostly 1.5mm hex heads. But yes, these are small and do require some patience. It’s very rewarding when done though.
You need to do some yoga and meditation before working on these mate 😂
Don't worry you'll soon get used to it
Just a tip , buy good tools or you'll be stripping hardware left and right
get easier as the further you get and it will become way more fun also
Tonight I installed drive shafts, steering links, skid plates, and cute little red tow hooks. The front bumper screws ended up being the only real problem. That and the stock wheel nuts are a bit Too $hort and the beadlock bolts on the new brass wheels are in the way. I ordered longer nuts.
I also just got some tools from Injora.
@@KyleKick909 niceeee I bet it looks awesome!!
Yeah well only the first scratch hurts 😁👍👍😎
Facts.
That there was upside down 😁😁
So with the worm gear have you ever experienced the feeling of push a truck and it roll with overdrive in it
Like when side hilling?
So the stock wheels suck. The tires are great! The stamped steel wheels will work and clear the hangers. Only catch is the tsl tires are .93 not 1.0 so takes a lil doing to use the tires.
You can also get the barrels to extended it and tap a hole for the screw pin if your really wanted
Great tips!
I hate those axel hubs!! The pins are too small and the little driver they give is sooo tiny. Can't do it. Lol
Winning video, thanks!
They would be fine if they just used a larger hex!!!
They should have used the .050in hex hardware instead of that tiny trash. Those current bolts strip way too easy.

Loctite on carbon fiber?
How about plumbers tape on some screwsm
I didn’t loctite anything to carbon fiber. lol. Only metal to metal. I don’t think there is any carbon fiber anywhere on this truck.
@@TheShopMiniRC sorry about that... i actually meant if loctite blue could be used on carbon fiber.
@@AnyAssumptionBanter ahh. Well honestly, I haven’t had any issues getting loctite on the carbon, but I’ve never used it with the intent to loctite it to the carbon. Usually to loctite to a nut on the other side.
Good thing you did this with all axial parts , now i know to never buy them, stupid engineering, we can buy every part from everyone and everything works, they can't even make it work with their own wheels, those hex are good in the 1/10 but in the 1/24 what's the point ?
Anyway that cage looks great, made the rig look a lot better
to be fair.. just about everybody changes out the wheels to aftermarket wheels.. and while these knuckle weights are labeled for the scx24 and ax24, i think they really made em for the AX
The only power wagon I’ve actually liked the looks of so far. In my opinion axial really misses the mark with that rig.
thanks my dude! We are loving this one!
if 0.9 feels like stripping, us a T5 - torex, it will work...
oh, 0.8 might be a T4 or even T3 , but with all those small hexes i rather use a Torex on them, it's just a better fit...
That’s a good tip. Would still just prefer they use a 1.3mm hex.
@@TheShopMiniRC to be honest, any hex under 2 mm u can use a torex for, most shops just don't have size 1 to 7 in stock, T5 to T8 can do most hex-screws on all my crawlers...
@@aladinsane5771 yeah, I’ve done it before. Was just frustrated with these.
