Just finished building mine. You're video was a great help. Thank you. I think the mb24 kit is an awesome piece of kit and looks great. To avoid the hitting of the servo arm i moved the body and cage 5mm forward by cutting of the last hole of the chassis, and using the second (now last) hole for the hinge mechanism. I used magnets for now and because of that i had to turn around the front carbon chassis brace to make up for the 5mm the body moved forward. If you use the velcro you don't even have to turn the plate around. I also trimmed the front wheelwell to line up with the skidplates and to not rub on the wheels (62mm for now). Keep doing what you do! You are a great help in allready a few occasions. Best wishes to you and yours for the next year

Mb24 rips! Been contemplating on this for my bronco scx24 or a ripper chassis for a trx4m to build a scratch build. I’m still torn about it. But for $40 I think I can do them all 😂👍🏻. But what sold me is the quality of the kit and of course the body being lighter then the stock bronco body.
@@TheShopMiniRC oh man that would be awesome! I actually just ordered the meus ripper for the trx4m scratch build. Price went down from when I last checked so I had to get it lol. $31. Loved you honest review of the MB24! A bit odd Meus didn't consider your suggestions, but anyway! While waiting for mine to arrive, I was thinking if you would do one more video trying to fit the isokinetic axles to the MB24. I think it is gonna be hard. I believe the only chassis those axles can fit taking advantage of the FULL steering angle, would be of rock buggy or tarantula style, that is bodies with the tires fully exposed, no hoods no fenders... Again, great and HONEST video!!! Well done....
Thanks a ton! And yeah, the Isokinetic will not get full turn on this. You would definitely need a totally cleared front end and maybe even run smaller tires.
Wondering if you could use the double wire extender to run a second steering servo for dual steering and have both front and back work from the wheel rather than the typical method of having to use the channel 3 button to control it?
You’d could. But the wheels would make your crab walk vs being mirrored. (Unless you could reverse the servo in the servo itself.). There is also a cable (with small circuit board) that can reverse the servo.)
I ordered it soon as I seen it thanks Ken thank you buddy for doing the review on it looks really good and also thanks for giving my buddy our buddy mofo RC his props he did build and design the best servo Mount ever I strictly run his Motors bam 4100 12 tooth brass pinion or 11 tooth steal and I know a lot of people have their personal choices and say that you know that motor is too high of a KV but if you tune into my channel you'll see that it's not Gibson life

Hey new guy here, who just bought one of these to have some fun with my kid. couple questions where is everyone putting their battery because mine definitely doesn’t fit underneath the body hold down, and then what is servo scrub
You can see how we tuck the battery between the trans and front body mount. Might need a smaller battery. Steering scrub is the radius created by having the center one of the tire/wheel further away from the pivot point of the knuckle. It makes your servo work harder to turn your wheels.
I hate to ask a dumb question here, I have the K5 blazer, could I use this body on that or is it for something else. I like the kit just for the lights too.
there are ways to make it work, but its definitely not a direct swap. This is means for the SCX24, but many have used FCX parts to build up this kind of body chassis

I think a few minor things that are completely insignificant are “wrong” about it is something I can completely overlook especially the width of the rear cage because the stock wheels and tires suck and a lot of people have axles or extended axle shafts.
@@slickster3211 I totally agree.
@@slickster3211 That is a lot for $40 but I can see a lot of complaints coming because it’s not an easy swap over. My first thought after seeing these issues is to put the body on a different chassis. Mine just cleared customs so I should have it by this weekend so I’ll see.
@DanPRC I get that. Maybe I expressed more “issues” than I should have because I was more involved than normal and the tiny things stood out (especially if they were things I was involved in pointing out)
Either way, it’s a great kit (even if it was $60) and this is a very positive review. ;)
Price is great, but the paint is hideous. Nothing an airbrush won't take care of though.
Good thing they sell a white body. ;)
i take some comfort you are not an aerospace technician 🙃
Uhhh yeah… what’s your point?
F**k it. Ordered.
Hahah you’re gonna love it.
