Your such a good teacher donna wolf I just learned how to make these shell stitch from this video and having a fun time with it but some spots I get stuck on but I finely get the hang of it. And have a question I did 107 row for a 1 yr old and I'm not good with numbers bc of mu disability and I wanted to have it where she can keep it for ever is it a single bed right ??

I love the way you put how many stitches you are doing in the upper right hand corner of your video's. I have a question for you...I had a single crochet blanket I crocheted years ago using different scraps. The middle unraveled and I now have two pieces. I don't want to whip stitch it together and was wondering if you had a clever idea how to put those two pieces together to make an entirely different looking blanket? thanks
Hi! I don't have a video showing it yet, but there are many techniques of joining granny squares that you can use with your 2 blanket pieces. There's the flat braid join, mattress stitch join, slip stitch join, single crochet join, etc.

If the stitch pattern is a bit fancier like this one, I try to keep the border simple - like a single crochet, double crochet, or maybe a basic shell around the edge.
