    Horizontal Pantry is a good way to add counter space! NICE Unit! One sink in the bathroom would be fine.

    Josh... I know I can be super-critical at times and today I was changing the door seal on our RV, so am pooped and grumpy already, but I like this design of this unit. Also got to say that the price isn't that bad either. Two thumbs up.

    After months of just seeing a couple travel trailers here and there its so nice to see more campers waiting to find their home.
    GREAT VIDEO of one of my favorite floor plans. I remember begging you to do this model last year when it was first announced. It's one of our 3 finalist in our retirement full time choices.

    I love this kitchen! I am torn between this model and the 2023 Keystone Cougar 320RDS. That sectional couch is amazing!
    I have been watching your videos for years and anytime I hear of a model I am interested in I look to see if you have made a video on it first before watching any other videos. Thank you so much for not only giving us the facts but also making it fun to watch. Very few people making videos show the campers closed up and I love that. Some people stop to just sleep a few hours and don’t want to or can’t open the slides up so it’s very informative to see what beds or bathrooms you can access while closed. I’m rambling, sorry. Thank you for all you do, I really appreciate it!

      We have it coming both ways thankfully! Appreciate the answer

  • @Brigand231
    @Brigand231 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you really want my opinion? Ok, you asked for it.
    1. 12 volt fridge
    2. Residential fridge
    3. Three-way fridge
    the two way fridge can join the zebra blinds on the trash heap.
    There's so much to love about this unit - the kitchen features are great, the bathroom is amazing, the laundry chute next to the hookups is fantastic, but the living room is a complete fail for us. The location of the couch is not conducive to being replaced with my desk setup (there's really no good place to put in a computer desk - even swapping out the dining table is a bad location for that) and that's a deal breaker as if the floor vents didn't already condemn the trailer. The pass through, as you demonstrated, would make a great mother-in-law suite too! Oh yeah, you asked who else climbs into storage... Dean, The spokesman for Leisure Travel Vans, tends to climb into closets in walkthrough videos. We often joke about him coming out of the closet on video.
    There's a happy ending in sight, though, once you have access to Grand Designs. Then you can help us order and customize our dream unit before we pick it up from your dealership.

      @JoshtheRVNerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lol loud and clear on the fridge :)
      Looking forward to getting my hands on more brands and models. Learning their in's and out's is simultaneously exciting and overwhelming

    This is my absolute favorite Montana floor plan. While I can live with the dual vanities in the bathroom they are just not necessary. I’d prefer a larger vessel sink centered on the vanity with a mirror in the center over the sink with cabinets flanking each side. Roads in Kentucky… well…. Let’s just say…. It’s NOT just Michigan and let me say this… Roads in Kentucky ALWAYS BITE!

    I love how Montana goes into overkill in the kitchen, making it a chef's dream. The hidden storage above the sink would be good for hiding mom's grape juice. I love the offset split sink that allows you to wash bigger pans or prepping. The reimagined pantry gives a lot more counter space ❤️
    The bathroom and bedroom both have me just as gob smacked, I am gonna have to watch this one a few more times to every single thing Montana is doing right.

    This is perfect. I really like the placement of the oven/stove in the kitchen. I’d use the 12v fridge and if available, just one sink in the bathroom as the sink that’s by the toilet is a pain to use. But even as is, this is as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen.

    I like the kitchen layout, but the faux-vent hood is kind of meh. I would be happy with traditional cabinet doors that do not need gas struts to hold open. I like the vessel sink option (my wife thinks it is weird), but I don't see the value in dual sinks in a small bathroom (even one that is 43% larger!).

    This is one sweet fifth wheel. The only thing I dislike about all Montana’s are the showers. They need to get rid of that huge seat. I have used a few friends of mine in the past and every time I take a shower I feel like I am going to fall down. I would rather see a fold up bench. It would give more room to move around. Other than that I would buy this in a heartbeat.

    another great one, i personally do not need that much kitchen space, i almost never cook, however i am far more likely to cook if out camping than i am at home, especially outside kitchen naturally. most complicated thing i ever cook is tacos. cut up the guts, shred the cheese fry the shells in oil. a hair too much for an outside kitchen, but i would use an outside kitchen far more often than inside for things that are easier than tacos, make bacon or sausage and eggs with morning coffee spiked with khalua and bailys both, hamburgers hot dogs steaks, i be outside for most every time, only cook those inside if weather not nice enough to be out there. i do like having proper oven, must have convection at least.. cookies, rolls, french fries, tater tots, etc. very hard to find something i dont like on this level 5th wheel, they are not missing anything. as always i would always max out any solar / power options, and or increase size of propane tanks, no matter what model i am looking at.... they could put 5000 watts of solar on the roof and and 6 lithium batteries, i would still say double it, i want to live for a year off grid in the rain without having to ever buy propane lol. outside kitchens without bunks i have noticed are not THAT common, they are out there though, i would always want one of those, even if just a fridge and propane hooker, good enough.

    Absolutely beautiful! I love the living area and table and chairs. I would recommend a two way or 12 volt fridge for anyone that travels. Residential fridges are pretty much useless unless the RV is permanently parked. The amount of space in the kitchen is residential worthy, but I’m undecided if I like the new stove placement that is so close to the fridge. In the bathroom I would prefer 1 sink that is more centered rather than 2 that are almost never used at the same time. Also, a multicolored faux marble one piece shower found in other RVs that you have reviewed would make the bathroom pop!

    Answering your questions: 1. Refrigerator; I'd like to have the dual power rather than the residential. 2. Pantry; I like that layout a lot. However, it looks like it's missing a spot to stand up a broom or mop but for cereal boxes it looks like it would do the trick. With regard to the dining table, I believe I would prefer a booth dinette because I just like the booth experience. Just my preference... 3. With regard to the bathroom, I don't think I would want two sinks. I would love to have extra counter space. Especially the one on the left near the toilet, I don't want someone brushing their teeth while I'm on the toilet. No need for two sinks in my household. 4. Those upper stands; I really like those. They seem nice. A bit of a bookshelf and/or charging stand. Like the lip to keep things from falling on you or falling during driving. I think I would opt for the queen bed rather than the king and get a bit more walk around room. But I have a beautiful wife and I like to be close to her. Lastly, I think I would opt for the factory solar upgrade because from experience having someone else install it can be quite costly; at least I would want to put the infrastructure in for a solar upgrade.
    But overall, I would certainly like this rig. Definitely would have to upgrade to a dually to pull it but it would be awesome to have this unit.
    Thanks again for sharing this and asking for out input.

    Always 12 volt compressor fridge with solar. Dual bathroom sinks is goofy in a camper. I doubt you are ever in the bathroom getting ready at the same time as the wife in a camper. The horizontal pantry is cool because of the sliding shelves but I'm anti bending over for stuff. I'm only 10 inches taller than my wife but for the past 37 years I've been putting up with her storing everything at her level.
    Just to let you know. Michigan roads are GREAT compared to Louisiana. On I-20, just outside Shreveport, we slowed down to about 40mph and I was still afraid it was going to hurt my truck. That was in 2019, so it may have been fixed now. But that same year, I drove through the middle of Michigan on Hwy 127, to avoid the garden spots of Detroit and Flint, to the UP, and don't remember any problems with the roads. (I don't live in LA or MI so no bias on the roads)

    Still catching up on the older recent videos I've missed, so this is the first time I've seen the Bish's logo on the channel!
    I like that horizontal pantry for my wife's sake, but I like taller storage because I'm vertically blessed. 🤣
    Wow, some serious bathroom space in this rig! Likewise with that storage space outside, heck it's about the size of the campers in my budget! 😂
    I still think the dual sinks are a little unnecessary, but as I'm not a full timer (and live in a small house) I'm arguably not the target market.
    Gotta love the Michigan roads. I still remember a late night road trip with a friend, we crossed the border back into Michigan from Indiana, and the change in the road surface was so loud and abrupt that it woke him up from a sound sleep!
