Beautiful fiver! No wonder Montana’s are the top full timers. Love front living floor plans for the bedroom privacy, so would prefer the half bath version myself. Can’t tell you how nice it is to look out the bedroom window in our front living Winne we got from y’all and watch the sun rise over the lake! Also love the massive storage/nerd cave. Don’t think I could convince my mother in law it was a suite though... 🤪 Full timer awesome!!!
Nice to finally see a full timing park model RV that you can actually travel with and stop for more than just a couple hours without having to plug into shore power😉
This 5th wheel has been on our consideration list. A couple of changes I would have liked to have seen is: 1. Remove half the hanging area in the bedroom closet so I can put stacked washer/dryer instead of side by side. 2. Put the emergency window over the dresser. This way you could fit another hanging closet in the space where the window currently is. To me a much better use of that space. 3. Allow to only have 1 sink in the main bath. I don't have the need for 2 sinks but would love to have the extra counter space. Great video..
Cannot believe that a unit at this price point would save a dime or two on the door shade! Other than that, we're in love!!! Now we just have to wait and see if our Uncle Josh surprises us at Christmas!!!
As long as the half bath has a fantastic exhaust fan, we don’t have a problem with it’s location, the rig is 👍👍. Josh you’re talking about it being luxury. If you want a luxury fifth wheel a Luxe fifth wheel has it😀😀😀
I would go with the half bath, expect if they moved the pantry storage that's next to the pathway to the bedroom and half bath, to the rear next to the kitchen and the door bea slide type and shifted facing the pathway. That way it's not facing the kitchen. I'd take this any day
I wouldnt want extended family or friends traipsing through the bedroom, especially the little ones, so id prefer the half bath, if i could design it i would swap the bed and bath around, but its certainly not a deal breaker and its great they give you a choice! A beautiful set up either way 😊
Wow! This is perfect for more storage! I don’t need two couches, but I could pull one out and make a sewing area with a nice table. Storage is more important than another toilet, but hubby might like it, if it’s a little larger!
22:40 nice detail is each faucet is on the opposite side pointing in for symmetry/balance 🆚 both mounted on the left or right of the vessel sink bowl‼️👍🏽👍🏽
So I do like that RV manufacturers are putting USB outlets in the RV, but are they USB 3.2 ports for the extra fast charging? I know with typical vehicle manufactures they tend to be a little behind on updating to the latest generation of USB. I would love to start seeing some USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports on the wall as well(those are USB type C only).
These Keystone Montanas really seem to have everything. I just can’t imagine anything that they should change. I’m buying a 2010 model and it’s just right for me.
If they shut the door they would not need to poop where they eat, no way I would eat in the water closet or poop at the table. I worked with a guy that not only went home from work for the toilet but had to shower even for number one. I realize it is a real problem he only used the basement bathroom and had the first floor bathroom in his house removed so no one would use it. Different strokes for different folks. Everyone is different. Stay safe and healthy Josh, hug your baby she is growing fast.
Wow.....When I'm ready for a destination RV that I only move yearly to a different park- this is it!! Way too big for me right now to bring through the woods and parks but I will eventually want to spend more time in a "civilized" manner lol! I love it!
I'm still not sure about the vessel sinks. This is beautiful, but I feel it's more of a destination RV. Keeping that in mind, I think Keystone nailed it as far as imitating a S&B. Fantastic touches, and layout. I would keep the 1/2 bath. Someone is always bound to show up and stay.
I love this Fifth Wheel! I wanna get it to park on my front lawn to use as a club house since we arent traveling anywhere in this stupid pandemic. I would change out the king bed with a queen to give me more room to change the sheets. I'd like the pantry instead of the 2nd bathroom. I love the storage space inside and out. If there was one thing I could change it would be the dark furniture.
12:15 IMO I would go for the 1/2 bath seeing there’s already a large enough pantry next to it + all that pantry space below the coffee bar area (or taco station if you prefer a good 🌮 instead of ☕️; I for 1 prefer a 🌯 over a 🌮 & hate ☕️ as I’m a 🫖 drinker = so it would be a 🫖 bar for me) 😉 15:00 👀👆🏽
Love this floorplan! Would definitely use the living room to double as the kids room. Teens on the tri-folds and little guy on the theater seats (replace with a jack knife or day bed). It would be great to have the Legos up there sort of contained 😂
That my friend is my dream home!! It's exactly how I would want it equipped. I have been full time for 20 years now . Somehow someway I will be living in that in the next 2 to 3 years.
I like those sinks and that second bath, though I'd probably keep the door barely cracked open, the night lighting is awesome, those over the window shelves are plus in my book. Great floorplan with great storage and those magnet hold backs with the latches are a simple but great idea.
in the bathroom under the sinks you could have 2 little baskets or a 13gal kitchen w/the push thru lid on the side then you don't have to throw trash from the top ...

As per some of the comments below I am on the market right now for something like this but the lack of closet space in the bedroom once you put a washer dryer in there makes it all but useless for hanging clothes. They need to use that mid half bath as a laundry. If they did that I would hands down buy one of these tomorrow
I like the new exterior paint scheme. The privacy curtain for the front living room is a plus for those with family or guests. Front living is pretty much my favorite floorplan, especially with an elevated rear bedroom for storage. Add the 1200I solar package to this and it is a serious contender for full timing with off grid capability. Why did they eliminate the ladder? It was there in previous years. Any word on if Keystone will be switching to 12V compressor fridges for the larger rigs? And on a related note, is a water and ice dispenser possible in a 12V compressor unit or is that reserved for only the residential fridges? Fabulous video as always! Thanks Josh!
Letters or just a severe shortage item right now unfortunately. Keystone has had to build multiple things without them simply because their supplier cannot keep up

awesome floor plan, great lay out. New to RVing and curious at this length are you more limited on parks, campgrounds, etc? I am not seeing much if any front living plans under 40'
You didn't go up on the roof for this one even though there shouldn't be that much to see... I'd also like to see both versions side by side as I am undecided about the half bath vs pantry... but that said, it's not essential. I would like to see the different solar packages actually installed in the pass through compartment AND UP ON THE ROOF too. Really curious about the cable sizes used for the different ones... and then the front compartments didn't get opened for a good peer into. Apart from all this, a "full monty" Montana is at the top of my list of most desireable full timer RV's, just have to convince the wife we should sell the half ton truck for something way bigger. A dually you say?
Hefty hitch weight. Dually feels right to me You definitely wouldn't regret having a dually for towing but you might regret having something smaller if that makes sense
@@JoshtheRVNerd Worst thing I have done was to use a half ton GMC truck to tow a 32' bunk house 'bumper pull'. Should have been a three quarter ton truck. Got it over 55MPH and even with anti-away bars, it felt like you were taking your life in your hands, so yes, I fully agree with you.
I’m buying a 2010 Keystone Montana 3605. It’s really nice and really spacious. A very nice unit for the price. I’m just under $30k, and I’d hate to know what the new ones cost.
12:10 + there’s a countertop extension for the island as well (good if you have both sink covers off)❗️👍🏽 12:52 I’m going to just STFU from now on, as you’re probably going to mention what I notice & comment on after I do anyway‼️ 🤦🏽♂️ 🤷🏽♂️
I think it might be nice to have one of those Extendable ladder spots on, instead of forcing you to have a big ladder. Like the floorplan oops, should have read the pinned comment.
Thank you for circling back on the edit. The oops is mine though Turns out Montanan never intended to build without ladders and I happened to get one built during a brief slip thru
Does this model have color options for furniture, and can you have it retro fitted for full timing for plumbing? Can you upgrade the TPO roof to industrial grade? Would you be able to order a plain tile background to the coffee area. Dishwasher option? Lithium batteries,2000 watt inverter ? Is there a full timers warranty? Regular microwave? Stackable Washer/dryer?
Hi Jane. TH-cam isn’t very handy for answering a big block of questions but I will do my best! Rvs are not like houses where nearly anything could be changed by request. Our sales team is happy to get you an options list but they do not offer different roof membranes or back splashes. Battery/solar inverter options are available. Again - our sales team can guide you thru an option list any time in return for the fair opportunity to work with you when you’re ready
Any rough idea of what kind of truck you’d need to tow this? I absolutely hate the idea of commuting in a duelie but that’s what this beautiful monster screams to me.
So for the most part here's how I see the Montana Lineup: High Countries: 3/4HD to SRW "Full Monty" Like this one: SRW to Dually And the bigger models like this... if you're going to tow regularly or for long distance, then you're likely going to want a dually for the stability
@@JoshtheRVNerd that's the battle we're facing. I'm military so we're really looking at a different more flexible option to live in and mainly park at an RV park so at most we'd do a trip a year. For obvious reason with this considered commuting in a duelly is hard no for me. However using common sense there's always that chance we end up towing this from WA to FL.
These things are out of control with dry weights. The average Joe has no idea how dangerous pulling a camper this size it. Like I said in one of your videos just beautiful and Montana is a great product. Show us some fifthwheels in the 8 to 10 thousands pounds dry weight.
I really like this unit, but do you know why the sofas in the front living slides come out so much further than they did on the 2021 or 2020 model? It’s pretty odd, I’ve noticed this in other review as well, or are they just not slid tight to the sidewall of the slide? I really don’t like this as it causes them to nearly touch when they are pulled out for beds plus they partly block the cabinet doors.
I believe that was retired with no replacement planned. I think the idea was to leave the toy hauler layouts to Fuzion and raptor who specialize more fully in those things
Hey Josh this doesn't have anything to do with this rv I watched a video on a 2022 van leigh ambition 399Th an the guy didn't do a very good job. I don't know who he is with an was wondering if you could do a video on a van leigh ambition 399Th in the future. Thank you your number one fan Leonard from NC
Two sink is wasted space imho. Rather have stack w/d and 1 sink in there. Does the half bath have a sink? Front living room & Kitchen 👍 Does Montana's do outside kitchens?
Can’t put WD units in a rear wall unfortunately. That was actually the original version of this design. The WD companies will not warrant them in that position due to the violence of bouncing back there. Otherwise.. yeah. It’s be awesome Half bath does have a sink as shown
Available options. They’re not recommended in some regions with high winds We tend to go all out on legacy units including slide awnings as well as a bunch of other things
I do not want a ladder on my RV, I do not need some kids climbing up to peek in the bathroom roof at my daughters. I say that from having caught a snot on the roof.
Love this but WHY does Montana take up the only bedroom closet with the washer/dryer, leaving no hanging room. Big mistake especially for full timers. We need both
@@JoshtheRVNerd thanks for asking, it’s great to have it in a closet, just not take up the whole closet. This particular one, had them side by side, but the hanging rod was so low, there is no way my 6’2” husbands tall man shirts could hang there. The whole rv would be awesome for full timing, except there were no other hanging spaces. Beautiful rv. While I prefer them near the bedroom, a w/d on the main level would work ok. We’ve had rvs for years, so I realize you have to give to get.
@@teresamccalip7368 A lot of people have asked if the half bath or Butler’s pantry could be re-purposed as washer dryer space. I think that would be a good solution though it would require new plumbing
HEY UNCLE JOSH; CONSIDERING THE WEIGHT THAT YOU BASICALLY ELUDED TO ON THE FRONT END TONGUE WOULD THERE STILL BE A DO ABLE OPTION TO ADD A ONAN GENERATOR IN THE NOSE CUBBY?? ( THATS WHAT I CALL IT)….
The windows on the sides of the seating ( behind too for that matter) are TOOO SHORT! I am a short person. The window bottoms come to about my line of sight! I wouldn't even be able to see out them. Negating the whole point! WHY WHY WHY??
Kinda be a bummer on this one. They build a full time rv I'd like to see these major companies be more involved in actually progressing the concept of a more simple living style. This thing is nicer than most homes. Why would they not want to be forefront in a housing alternative
With Montana claiming to be a 4 season trailer why is it they still go with the nonefficient propane furnace and not go with a diesel or kerosene or at least offer the option. Diesel is so much better and a dryer heat to avoid the condensation when used in winter.
@@JoshtheRVNerd No problem, I believe there only tested a freezing, us poor folks from Canada experience much colder and the propane furnaces struggle to keep up and cause so much moisture. I installed a diesel one in our current RV and works so much better. We are seriously looking at purchasing a new Montana, love the floor plans. They’re the best selling fifth wheel in the history of history! That doesn’t happen by accident 😊
Why is it so hard for manufacters to put shade on the entrance door?
I think it might be nice to have one of those Extendable ladder spots on, instead of forcing you to have a big ladder. Like the floorplan
oops, should have read the pinned comment.
Thank you for circling back on the edit. The oops is mine though
Turns out Montanan never intended to build without ladders and I happened to get one built during a brief slip thru
Can You keep the Televator down when the Tootsy Toaster is hot?
Yep!
Any rough idea of what kind of truck you’d need to tow this? I absolutely hate the idea of commuting in a duelie but that’s what this beautiful monster screams to me.
So for the most part here's how I see the Montana Lineup:
High Countries: 3/4HD to SRW
"Full Monty" Like this one: SRW to Dually
And the bigger models like this... if you're going to tow regularly or for long distance, then you're likely going to want a dually for the stability
Mag be a slightly different sofa
Josh will there be High Country 2022 TH models like the 380/381TH?
I believe that was retired with no replacement planned. I think the idea was to leave the toy hauler layouts to Fuzion and raptor who specialize more fully in those things
Hey Josh this doesn't have anything to do with this rv I watched a video on a 2022 van leigh ambition 399Th an the guy didn't do a very good job. I don't know who he is with an was wondering if you could do a video on a van leigh ambition 399Th in the future. Thank you your number one fan Leonard from NC
If I see one somewhere, then I will do my best! I have never had the opportunity to review one (yet..)
Ok cool sounds good like winner winner chicken dinner
Two sink is wasted space imho. Rather have stack w/d and 1 sink in there.
Does the half bath have a sink? Front living room & Kitchen 👍
Does Montana's do outside kitchens?
Can’t put WD units in a rear wall unfortunately. That was actually the original version of this design. The WD companies will not warrant them in that position due to the violence of bouncing back there. Otherwise.. yeah. It’s be awesome
Half bath does have a sink as shown
@@JoshtheRVNerd oh . . . guess i missed sering the sink 😨
Well i don't want a w/d in the bedroom. I'll keep looking. ☺
@@hshalom9113 It's okay -- you should see the stuff I overlook when my wife is pointing it right out to me
Why did this big buck Montana not come standard with any slide toppers on it?
Available options. They’re not recommended in some regions with high winds
We tend to go all out on legacy units including slide awnings as well as a bunch of other things
Ladders should be standard on all rvs. Period. My opinion.
I do not want a ladder on my RV, I do not need some kids climbing up to peek in the bathroom roof at my daughters. I say that from having caught a snot on the roof.
They are supposed to be equipped with one. There is a shortage on ladders right now.
A crapper in the kitchen🤔🤦♂️🤣
Love this but WHY does Montana take up the only bedroom closet with the washer/dryer, leaving no hanging room. Big mistake especially for full timers. We need both
Where would you prefer the W/D hookups be located, Teresa?
Yeah that’s an available option on these
The one thing that is absolutely nonnegotiable is bathroom access when we are on the road. That isn’t available on this model.
Got you covered -- take a look at this one! th-cam.com/video/m3BceUWICxw/w-d-xo.html
The windows on the sides of the seating ( behind too for that matter) are TOOO SHORT! I am a short person. The window bottoms come to about my line of sight! I wouldn't even be able to see out them. Negating the whole point! WHY WHY WHY??
Im 6'1 and theyre perfect for me.
The model number and the fridge are confusing me… wouldn’t the 3761 have a residential fridge?
Montana did away with even model numbers for 2022
Everything is now resi fridge standard with optional 2-way fridge
Kinda be a bummer on this one. They build a full time rv I'd like to see these major companies be more involved in actually progressing the concept of a more simple living style. This thing is nicer than most homes. Why would they not want to be forefront in a housing alternative
No pooping in the half bath, it's too close to the kitchen!
With Montana claiming to be a 4 season trailer why is it they still go with the nonefficient propane furnace and not go with a diesel or kerosene or at least offer the option. Diesel is so much better and a dryer heat to avoid the condensation when used in winter.
Man that's definitely a good question for Montana directly. I don't have any answers for you on that one
You guys serve your friendly neighbors across the border?😁
Josh this is Jerry Fritz I am in the market for a fifth wheel toy hauler I want to know what your thoughts are on the best fifth wheel toy hauler there is on the market for off grid full-time youth I’m kind of leaning towardsCyclones and building it the way I want it done but I want your opinion your opinion matters to me because I want to buy through your company thanks for your time I appreciate it very much
Hey buddy. I’m still being introduced to more and more fifth wheel toy haulers so I don’t really have a good answer for You right now. Keep watching the channel and maybe we’ll get to see more of them together
I have a 2018 268RKS VIbe, I’m looking to trade for a Montana

Good review of features but you are SERIOUSLY hard to listen to. Calm down and just talk normal.
