Note to self: purchase flirt pole! I have this problem with my seven month old Dobermann. He’s 30kgs already and just can’t contain himself. I’ve tried a few things and he’s improving but I’m going to work more on his sit whilst out and buy a flirt pole to wear him out a little before we go out. He gets fixated on people and dogs too. This has been great to watch!😊

I had a Saint who also pulled on leash/collar. Wish I had done a harness so as not to pull on the neck. I think you should (and everyone) should use a harness, not a coller.

Thank you so much! This is an exact example of what I’m working on with my 1 year old lab. With more consistency, will these training techniques result in her being more calm and better behaved around other dogs long term?
