caribena versicolor is one of the most stunning arboreal tarantulas that you will ever have the pleasure of keeping in your tarantula collection. known by several common names, the Antilles pink toe tarantula, the Martinique pink toe tarantula and also the purple antillies pink toe tarantula it's one of the most stunning tarantulas you will ever lay eyes on. so in this tarantula rehouse video I give you an up close and personal look at this very unique spider as I put it into a brand new pink toe tarantula enclosure, and how to do this calmly and safely without having an escaped tarantula on the lose!!! caribena versicolor is definitely one of my top arboreal tarantulas. enjoy this tarantula spider video 😊

Stunning T mate and yeah going of the ventral you can see the epigastric furrow so I'd say almost certain 💯 % female I find that arborial Ts are very easy to ventral sex I've sexed all my arborial species correctly from about an inch in size and got every one right they're a gorgeous species. 👍
If I had to put money on it I’d be guessing female from that ventral! She’s is gorgeous!

My tarantula room is always heated to between 23-24 degrees all year round and they do fine

Oh they can be defensive at times, takes a lot normally to provoke that reaction but it does happen

I figured at that size, it would have matured out into a male by now, if it was in fact a male.
Hey buddy my last male I had was 3 times the size of that one when it matured, still going to wait for a molt buuut I hope you're right
my favourite to our sling is blue still but can't wait when it changes colour.
It won't take long at all, I love watching them go through the colour stages

It's definitely one of the most rewarding parts about keeping this species, what size is it now?
@@robbiestalkingts about 3-4cm atm had 2 molts so far so still rather small :) my friends verci is growing quicker then mine ( got a round the same time )
Faster growth means 1 of 3 things, it's fed more, kept warmer orrrr its male, so you may get lucky with a girl
@@robbiestalkingts that was my thought that possibly its a male he has but we will see when i can sex the molt . feed every 3 days depending on size of feeders or abdomen . temp wise is just above room temp :)

Hey ya it's not a silly question, because of the shipping situation in the u.s if there is a winner from the states, they will win tarantulas from fear not tarantulas, equal I'm cost to that of the uk prize

She's a cutie and was a pleasure to rehouse
No way that enclosure would work for mine, she has and still allways webs the roof up as high as she can possibly go, been like that since a sling. No matter what i put in as a hide "even glued a 1/2 round in the top corner previously" she ignores it and builds her hammock funnel on the roof.
The trick to stop that is a lot of anchor points lower in the enclosure, leave an inch gap between the highest anchor point and the top. Works for me every time
