Finally got it to work! Thank You to this I managed to play my first game finishing at 90! What I was doing wrong is the ball positioning and stance which messed up the AOA! Now I need to figure it out for the Hybrid, Irons and Driver. Hello Tom. One question: are the hands in front of the ball when you adress with a 3 wood? How is the correct position of the clubface? For me it seems to work better if I close the clubface an little bit....
I find that I can hit my five wood and three hybrid more consistent than most other woods. Once again you make it look easy, I still hit at the ball rather than through it, need lots of practice. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. When we address the ball with ball being towards the left heel (off the ground) and with wider stance, the center of stance will be behind the ball by a few inches. So, the club bottoms at few inches behind the ball and there is a high chance of topping the ball. Whereas, if we move the ball just off-of center of the stance then with wider stance, we might hit it slightly on the upswing. With this scenario, if you are keeping the ball towards the left heel, do you open the stance to "get" the ball at the center of the stance?

Hey Trenton , thanks for your question, the meaning of getting the shaft more up is according to the ground, so if you use a Sand Wedge you will have the shaft at shoulder hight at about 65 degrees to the ground, if you are using a driver it would be around 45 degrees to the ground, So the shortest club will give you the steepest backswing and the longest club gives you the most shallow swing plane .
Hi Ray , thanks for your question about the perfect position of your woods, yes you can do that as well but the shape of the sole is already hyperbolic to adjust the shaft torque.

There are numerous reasons why this happens, mostly it occurs when you accelerate the club too early in the downswing, releasing the wrist action before the impact zone!! This is a common fault because you want to hit the ball too hard. Another reason could be that you are dipping in the downswing! Try to put too much pressure on the shot and falling into the ball, mostly it results in a pull or a slice. Send me a video of your swing to be more accurate!

You are not alone! Many golfers are just hitting the ball in stead of swing thru!
