Had the pleasure of being (comped) upgraded from Doha to Melbourne in first a few months back. I think as a Qantas plat I won the upgrade lottery. Very comfortable seat and loved the food. Also the Krug and being served it at the bar was great fun. Greet review as always !

The food looked astonishing. During the latest BA crew strike, they used QATAR to service flights and a lot of BA passengers got to see, irrelevant of class, for the first time what a really good airline is like.

A piece of advice. You should have tried the very rare Gewürztraminer from Alsace,France. I haven`t seen that wine for years on a plane. Now that is really a gem. Your dessert would have been upgraded with that "Poetry in a bottle"..

Always a pleasure to follow your reviews. I also always enjoy my Qatar Airlines flights, and as I was saying to Dennis, You should post you planning trip before hand so we could have some get together events each time you have a stop over with your followers. Imagine getting together in the French Cafe in Doha airport for a drink with other regular flyers, this could really be great.
Safe travel :) I have a 9 hours stop over in Doha on the 23rd this month, and you can only spend so much time in the pool :D

Thank you for your video. I have been flying Emirates on my regular travels from Washington DC and Bangkok and was considering a change to Qatar because of it's association with AA. So this was timely for me. #amenitykit

They're probably worth trying but otherwise EK is probably superior. :) Just remember that Qatar doesn't allow One World Status pax into their good lounges so that's a big negative mark against them!

Really good video ..although showers are missing in their A380 but I believe the food and beverages are of higher standards than of Emirates and Etihad..Would you agree?

Thanks mate. I haven't flown in EY F so can't really comment there but I'd say that the food/drink is probably equal between QR and EK.
