Park in Levis across the river, take the ferry across to Quebec and walkabout as there is much to see and experience on foot ; no worries about your car for the day ; very economical and a fun ferry ride with excellent views !

Great! Take time to visit old Quebec City, and then drive to Île d’Orleans so you can have view from what it looked like when the finders of the « new world » came to the continent…it allows you to see the Cape Diamant, where you can see the Chateau Frontenac! Have fun! (You can also up on train to glide all the way on the river side, from the Chutes Montmorency, higher even than the Niagara Falls!!! And: trek in the Canyon Ste-Anne…right at the bottom of the Mont Ste-Anne ski resort…. Lots to do! 😂

If you have time in New Brunswick, visit Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy Trail Parkway. Most people just drive through NB on the way to Nova Scotia and PEI. Sadly, they miss some beautiful scenery and friendly people.

I was a tour guide in Old Québec for close to ten years, from 2005 to 2016, doing two hour walking tours for the same company as your food tour guide. Mostly in English, with literally thousands of tourists just like yourselves. I loved it, but had to stop when circumstances led me to move three hours East of Québec on the St-Lawrence. I don't go back often, so it's interesting to see the changes that have happened. That restaurant that you liked so much, the BeClub, it did not exist when I was doing tours. Oh, BTW, when you crossed the border, you were still in America.... 😉

Please learn a few words of French like "bonjour" (Hi, Good Morning) "merci" (Thank You) "au revoir" (Goodbye) because although we french Canadians understand English well we do not really appreciate the use of english ex officio in the everyday conversations. Memories of the end of school year grade 7 trip to Quebec City (‘87). Walking along one of the main streets, with a metallic blue trans am top off, blaring Stayin’ Alive driving back and forth about a dozen times. 🤣
Overhearing a few of the boys lament the confiscation of a deck playboy cards, they had just purchased and one of the chaperones noticed them in a huddle, walked over to them and discovered their swag. 🤣🤣💀

Buc-ee's... oh Buc-ee's. Just traveled Colorado to Disney Fort Wilderness, and just had to stop at a Buc-ee's. My Lord, what a nightmare. I cannot force myself to understand all the inconsiderate folk using the gas pumps as a parking lot. Acting completely oblivious to those needing fuel while packing their pie-holes with brisket. Ethics people, get fuel, find a parking spot and then visit the store. Don't sit at the pump in your car and have lunch, or even worse abandon your car at the pump.

Driving in a foreign land - ah, yes, I mean no! Almost at the end of your video, when you came around the curve and the navigator was saying go this way - I saw construction on the road and had a flashback of driving in Stuttgart. There was construction everywhere (I mean everywhere!), I was driving, and navi said go right on this street, and I drove around a curve and we saw no entry signs, orange stuff everywhere. I look in my rear view mirror and there were about 12 cars following us. We could literally see the road we needed to get to , so we forged ahead and made it to a work around, leading the parade.

Others mentioned that. No signs - at least that we saw. No alerts on Google either. I guess RV directions would have taken us around.

Great trip. I have never been to Canada. My family or My Dad and Mom and my brother went about 38 years ago. I really would like to go to the Celtic Colours International Festival one October. I play guitar and I love Celtic music. It is in Sydney Nova Scotia. The fall colors in Canada are out of this world.

You'd love it. Everywhere in Canada we've been, we've enjoyed.

Wow. I can't believe the province we were in at Nova Scotia could possible be on Central. Crazy.

The best way to figure out what not to bring into Canada is not going to Canada.
