The Polish officer who interviewed Stroop in his cell and who wrote a book about that, suffered a similar fate as some of Stroop's victims. Kazimierz Moczarski was arrested by the Stalinist regime in 1946 and sentenced to 10 years in prison, where he suffered 49 different measures of torture at the hand of a certain General Romkowski, who was born a jew named Nathan Grünspan in Moscow. One of the torture methods, which Grünspan ordered directly was standing upright in a narrow cell for 7 or 9 days with frequent blows to the face. Ironically, such "standing cells" had also been used by Stroop.

Every anti-liberty ideology, nazism, fascism, communism, marxism, socialism including, will find their henchmen, the willing executioneers and psycopaths. But, these persons will exist never-the-less, irrespective of the ideologies. Ideology just provides the social power. Just like today, the social media itself.

A lot hide in and used the sewer systems to get around, it's truly disheartening to see those things in person. Mankind can truly be wicked, but the Nazi regime has to be one of the worst that's ever existed.

Poles often have an uncomfortable way of feeling sorry for themselves. Nobody will deny that crimes happened, but to be fair, it should also be mentioned which crimes the Poles committed against Germans, and they were very diligent. Many of these crimes were committed before 1933, but of course also after '45. Conveniently, the Poles continued to use the concentration camps. The Poles always forget to mention that. @@leeshergold103 Yes, I am. - Unfortunately, both statements are choppy, yours and mine. As far as I know, the Poles not only worked with the Nazis against the Jews, they also have their own anti-Jewish history. Some Jews from German concentration camps immediately after the so-called "liberation" immigrated to these, now Polish, concentration camps. As far as I know, this has also happened in Czech Republic. These things will probably be denied, but perhaps there are still contemporary witnesses.

Not a single butcher of Warsaw was ever brought to justice. Period. You are talking about a butcher of the Jewish uprising in Warsaw ghetto - not about the butcher of Poles in Warsaw upraising that took place 2 years later.
During Warsaw uprising Germans executed 40 thousand women, elderly and kids in just one day! In one day they killed as many Poles as the total number of Polish Jews they killed during the entire Jewish uprising in Warsaw ghetto 2 years earlier.
Also, do not use the term Nazi as they were a minority in Germany. Certain individuals were indeed Nazi, but they were minority. In Poland, Ukraine, Belarus we never called and still do not cal Germans - Nazi.
Does anyone call Americans in Vietnam… republicans?
Who cares what party was in power in Germany at that time? Nazis were democratically elected and enjoyed popular support of the German people. Till they started losing the war that is.
Coming back to Warsaw Uprising in 1944: over 200 thousand Poles died there. After that uprising Germans went house by house and blew them up so most of the city of Warsaw became ruins. it was done by Wehrmacht and some special troops - not by SS who was indeed a Nazi formation.
And no - no butcher of Warsaw was ever brought to justice for exterminating over 180 thousand civilians, over 20 thousand Polish fighters, and expelling one million civilians from the city of Warsaw. Most to camps, labor camps and as slave labor in factories and farms. German farms who gladly used them. Not Nazi farms.
Only the butcher of Warsaw Ghetto got what he deserved. The butchers of Warsaw - never.

    • @danandrewkarpat3228
      @danandrewkarpat3228 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Amen! Most people confuse the Jewish Ghetto uprising with much bigger Warsaw uprising of 1944 that resulted with a slaughter of over 200 thousand Polish civilians (not Jews). Jung people also fall into this propaganda of calling Germans as Nazis and German death camps in occupied Poland as "Polish death camps". How convenient! Pretty soon we will be told that Nazis invaded Germany... I'm speechless.
Today we have 77th anniversary of Wola slaughter. Wola was just one district of Warsaw. Let me cite Wikipedia:
"Wola slaughter was the systematic killing of between 70,000 and 90,000 Poles in the Wola suburb of Poland's capital city, Warsaw, by German Wehrmacht and fellow Axis collaborators." I'll repeat: by German Wehrmacht...
"From 5 to 12 August 1944, tens of thousands of Polish civilians along with captured Home Army resistance fighters were brutally and systematically murdered by the Germans in organised mass executions throughout Wola. Whole families, including babies, children and the elderly, were often shot on the spot, but some were killed after torture and sexual assault. Soldiers murdered patients in hospitals, killing them in their beds, as well as the doctors and nurses caring for them. Dead bodies were piled up to be burned by the Verbrennungskommando ("burning detachment") to destroy the evidence of the massacre; though first, dogs were let loose to find survivors to be killed. The operation was led by Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski.
Despite his responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity, Bach-Zelewski did not stand trial in the Nuremberg trials, and instead appeared as a witness for the prosecution. "
So yes - you are so correct Jerzy - not a single butcher of Warsaw ever stood trial, and there were many of them. Later on Germany worked very hard to shift the responsibility for the war and war crimes from Germans to some Nazis from Mars. They also worked and are working hard to associate German Death Camps with Poland - not with Germany. Today we see the fruits of that work.
If you want to learn more about Wola slaughter and Warsaw uprising (not ghetto uprising) below are some links:

"For the wicked will be eliminated, but those who put their hope in Jehovah will inherit the earth. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will no longer exist; you will look where they were, and they will no longer be there. But the meek will inherit the earth and fully enjoy of abundant peace."
      Second-Promise recorded in Isaiah 25: 8 says:
"He will remove death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces. He will remove from all the earth the disgrace of his people, for Jehovah himself has spoken."
      Have a very pleasant day.

You will truly value this promise recorded in Psalm 37:9-11:
"For evil men will be done away with, but those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
      For how long?
The answer in recorded in verse 29:
"The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it."
Would you not like to live for ever on Earth, made a paradise, with no evil doer hurting our neighbors?

"Because a child has been born to us, we have been given a son; and the government will be in his hands. He will be called by name Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."
His kingdom will never be defeated or replaced, according to Daniel 2:44, which reads:
In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will establish a kingdom that will never be destroyed or passed into the hands of any other people. This kingdom will shatter and end all those kingdoms, and it will be the only one that will remain forever, ... "

Stroop's biggest effup, was to commit attrocities, not just against Jews, of which I am one, but also against Greeks. Do not ever EFFK with Greeks! Greeks are awesome as friends and allies. But do not EFF with Greeks! See, with my people, the Jews, we won't forget, we won't forgive, and we will strive for justice. A justfied retribution proportional to offense. But Greeks, won't forget, won't forgive, and their retribution is like 5X or 10X the original grievance. G*d Bless Greeks! Italians and German occupation forces , who were on wrong side, of Greek partisan retributions, found that out. That goes for Balkans. The Balkan groups, who were NAZI allies, such as Utasha Croats, found out. The partisan retributions from Allied allies in Balkan onto NAZI collaborationists , became legendary. By comparison, French Resistance and Allied military actions against German NAZIes and French NAZI collaborators, were acts of kindness.
Here is a legend. THe idea for NAZI Red Skull villain in Marvel originated from an incident in Balkans. An Utasha officer, got inducted into SS with a commisioned rank. To celebrate he and a bunch of drunk SS officers raped and beat some young women, Croat, Bosnian, who were held as partisan sympathizers and hostages. Some of the girls did not survive the night. Few days later the Utasha SS officer was found walking around a tree in a dazed circle. He was lashed to the tree like a dog with a rope for a leash. His scalp, face, and neck, were flayed. The skin was peeled off. His SS officer cap was glued and 'stapled' to exposed flesh. His eyes were gouged out, his tongue was cut out, his ear drums were punctured. So in pain, driven insane, without skin, blind, mute, and deaf, tied to a tree, all he could do was to walk in drug induced haze. Which is how he was found. The image of red bloody skinless skull with SS cap and SS uniform formed the idea of Red Skull. THe enemy of Cpt. America.
One has to respect such men, who would fight and die for their friends, families, Allies. Yet those same men could summon their inner demons to exact exquisite revenge on their enemies when waranted.

The same I can't say for the church, the killed millions of people and have stolen for the last 2000 years in the name of christ, Pope, Faith and Church whatever was available .you don't believe it, check history it explains everything..!

What the Nazis did was bad but most people don't know, due to narrative shaping, that there were no crime against humanity laws prior to the Nuremberg trials, In fact the crime against humanity laws were introduced for the purpose of the Nuremberg trials. So in reality the Nazis committed no crime at the time. By the standards of the time what they did was immoral yes, unethical yes, callous yes but they're all subjective.
What was internationally recognised as a crime was terrorism and from not just a Nazi perspective but in accordance with international law any armed revolt in any country which had surrendered was by the very definition of the term an act of terrorism and at the time terrorism and support of terrorists was a capital offence.
