Perfect! I lived in a 540 sq foot cottage for 10 years to save money to buy my house. It was $1,200.00 and the rent stayed the same for a decade & included all utilities & cable. It was also close to my job. They now rent it out for 3,400.00 almost 3 x the amt. I was there 2005-2015. It really is all you need, smaller is better! Stay as long as you can!

Yes indeed $1300 per month for such a pretty home is an absolute bargain! It is so immensely refreshing to know that some landlords are not GREEDY nor SELFISH and actually care about others. I would stay in that place for as long as I could... Perhaps she could buy a house in Los Angeles or a more affordable area later on.🌞🌞🌞

The way you filmed it was one of the best tours I think I’ve ever seen. Each shot was very comprehensive and then you went back and did a recap shot to show the whole space which is very important. I hate that some people give you tours and they run through the whole thing and you feel like you didn’t see anything but a few decor pieces because of the camera angles and the lack of recap shots. I feel like I got a great view of your whole entire apartment. Sometimes I watch these and feel like I didn’t see anything. Great filming!!! Amazing.

I love how you knew to give us a shot of the whole space, and I love the shots of the kitchen and entryway. Many videos don’t give a shot of the whole space, which is so annoying! I always want to see the whole thing! Great job❤️ I love your place.

The layout of your apartment I really like and cannot believe that it's a studio; very nice size for a studio. That island in the kitchen built by your Mom...is superb👌along with your entire Decor theme.

Love your place! Super cute and quaint! I totally understand the small bedroom/ small closet frustration but HONESTLY, I think with the kitchen/ living area that you have, it’s a great trade off. He could have made the kitchen/ living area smaller and made the “room” bigger but, imo, the living area is much more important. And I also have to say, THANK YOU for keeping your camera steady throughout the video. I can’t tell you how many of these apartment tour videos I can’t see for more than 1 second because of unsteady footage that sets off my vertigo. So thanks for not giving me a terrible headache! Your place is great!

You did a wonderful job! I live in a space about the same size, except I don't have a dishwasher, or laundry. To bring organization to your laundry area, get a laundry caddy from Amazon for your detergent, bleach, etc. To hold your mop, broom, etc , get a wall mounted mop and broom holder also from Amazon. Don't use Command Hooks, they can absolutely do damage to the landlords walls if not properly installed and removed. I didn't see any lamps, but a floor lamp between the sofa and chair, (maybe an arched one) would be nice. Congratulations on your warm, and cozy new home!

I would put a floor lamp between the couch and the chair instead of the plant. I also remove the white pillows from the floor. It takes space. You know how to decorate and the colors are very beautiful. I love your apartment!. Excuse my English

What a beautiful home! In Washington DC they have a lot of these similar layouts with a separate bedroom area but no door and they’re called junior one bedroom units.

Beautiful home! Packing cubes might help with the clothing storage situation. Just make sure you label each cube, so that your not constantly guessing which cube you put what in.

The island storage should face the stove, so people can sit and face the kitchen while you’re cooking etc

600 sq ft is decent for a studio in Los Angeles most are 500 and under for more than 1300. I live in DTLA and my rent is 1800 for 500 sq ft your place is beautiful you definitely got a good deal.

Very cute home. Why don’t you move the counter stools to the opposite side of the island so it’s not in the way when you are cooking?
It’s amazing what we take for granted. Some of us have always had washer/dryers so it’s strange when people say they are grateful to have one. 😅 Beautiful home tour.
