Morgan, I appreciate that your not a "polished" TH-cam channel. I found you a few months ago and really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work my man! Thank you for the entertainment
Those emission regulations really screw up things.. and in the end everyone just work around those factory settings/change the pipes and stuff. So all those extra parts and expensive approvals are just a waste of money and energy.. as usual. 🤯 thanks for another informative video!
Hi from Finland! I have to try that, thanks! I have been ride Yamaha's 2-and 4-strokes almost 20 years. Now I bought Fantic because it`s based little bit yamaha and it`s easier to register in Finland than Yamaha 2-strokes, because emissions. Now I ride 13/49 sprockets but I think I'm going 13/48. I changed yz 4-stroke shift lever it's little bit shorter than original. You make great videos!
Just subbed, very interesting to see the Fantic brand coming to the states! Just bought the all new Triumph Tf250x earlier this year and absolutely love the bike. I’m very intrigued about the new brands entering the sport!
Yamaha is fielding GNCC riders for 2025 and lot of NEW GYTR parts to. Hoping they build some new CC/Enduro bikes GREAT VIDEO! Did it have like red thread locker on the allen? Can you do a do a follow up video on the throttle body?
I think you have to make one dyno Video . Before and after the solve because the problem with fantic is in low rpms right? Maybe the curve be change a lot . Nice videos by the way good job❤️
Why are there so many mapping issues with these fuel injected two strokes? Have a tpi and tbi bike. Both had issues with mapping. Rode a 1990s snowmobile that was a fuel injected two strokes with zero mapping issues. Drove a boat with a fuel injected two stroke engine with zero issues
Agreed, I have a 22 300 Xc-W and love the thing to death! Will I ever buy a fantic? Probably not. Will I watch every video Morgan posts about it? Absolutely! Something about new bikes entering the world of enduro and just another option for us riders in the US is exciting!
Where is the footage of the bogging , was it while riding in the terrain . God dam findling with it already haha. KTM may have affected the Mechanic thinking to ocd specs on the feeler gauge , or youtube content man , did i miss the ride bogging video somewhere ? Insta or . The video would have been good on such a new machine or is it the same chinese throttle body set up as the ktms
Can you just buy the motor ? That would make more sense, as everyone has their own suspension setup. This engine is whats interesting, and swapping this engine...
Hope it's a good one, seems promising so far with nothing out of the ordinary. Looking forward to the offroad testing, Yamaha has an opening with KTM faltering, hopefully KTM doesn't end up being built in China.
All the fiddly cables, duel injectors, non adjustable idles…..hard to access area. Just give me a Carbureted 300 two stroke with a Keihin. I have zero interest in whatever Tpi style based system that is. Imagine having to remove all that just to do a top end. No thanks.
Yeah. It’s complicated but it runs sooooo good. Imagine if they never put FI in cars. I’m sure a ton of people were the same way and now you just drive and don’t worry about it.
Had a 2017 with a Keihin and when I got my 24 ex300 I immediately sold it. It was obsolete to me at that point. No comparison on power and rideability.

I honestly prefer the non polished videos you create. Keep up the good work. Sometimes great videos don’t require tons of transitioned segments etc
Euro owners super happy you slowly sussing this bike out.
Yep. We will get it dialed

Me too. Psyched to hear you like the Triumph

Might want to check the TP sensor as well, like the KTMs
Im not scrolling by shit brother. Im always interested in whatever you got on that lift🤙🏼
I want to learn everything about this bike...super cool 😎
Might need one of those screws that is on the end of a long tube with a wheel on the end you leave out to access it.
Oh yeah. That might work
Nice work!
Ever thought about changing to a higher quality premix? Amsoil Dominator seems to burn much cleaner
I have had great luck with motorex. No failures and motors come apart looking great. No need to change.
I think you have to make one dyno Video . Before and after the solve because the problem with fantic is in low rpms right? Maybe the curve be change a lot . Nice videos by the way good job❤️
I would love to but there is no dyno anywhere near me.
You should try to be a Fantic Dealer
I bet if you tell the kids whoever dents the pipe get to buy it. It will be pristine when it comes back.
Is there a way to retro fit like an old school flexible adjuster to it that would make it easier to turn and won’t be in the way?

The factory updated the mapping, only a dealer can upload the new mappings
For sure.
Me resulta curioso ver que la admisión parece de un motor de 1990. Supongo que será basado en un motor Yamaha.
A question about the fiscal size of the bike. What is the seat hight on the bike?
Fiscal size?? It was $11,600
We don't modify things. We Frankenstein them.
Damned auto fill. O it should have read physical size. What is the seat hight of the Fantic?
👍👍
Flex jet style idle screw
The Fantic has different cylinder angel then Yamaha so not sure the Yamma pipe fit snugg flat in the cylinder
It does. I put one on to see
I would wager that the Fantic fits in with all other 300 2 strokes produced. Perhaps no better or no worse. Out of all honesty.
She is pretty though

❤
Unless Fantic' contract with Yamaha changes I don't see them coming to the US.
Is that not a modified KTM tpi throttle body? Sure looks the same as Ktm is a dellorto aswell. Be nice to see how the injectors are placed.
one injector in the throttle body and another in the transfer port,
No that’s not correct.
Great content Morgan never change!!!! I can relate so much with your boys🤘🏻🤣🤣
GOD BLESS 🙌🏻
Did you add the V3?
V3?? The reeds? No, they were on it
So what are some of the reasons someone would want to purchase one of these over a KTM 300?
🤷maybe yamaha 250 fanboi wanna try something a little different? I'm biased believing KTM 2-stroke is all around a better bike.
Because I own a new KTM 300 and I’m interested and I actually take action on my thoughts.
@highlandcycles actually i was referring to any specifics you might be anticipating that the fantic might possess over the ktm
@ no idea yet. Just barely have it out in the dirt.
50k by Christmas!!!!
Yep, I hope so.
Will the YZ oversized tank fit on the Fantic
It would but no fuel pump
so basically about 14K to get this here... right ?
Nope. $11,600 to my door.

Euro MAP issue on the hesitation?
Maybe, but its way better with the air screw in

I don’t know. Find out. Call Europe like I did

Their ADV bikes are already made in China, CFMOTO, I think is doing the engines.
New bike, not working well? Send it back, manufacturing need to solve it.

@ for sure I see what your saying. But I’m not rebuilding my car engine every season.
@ it honestly takes an extra 10 min if you know what you’re doing. Not a big deal at all.
@@highlandcycles that is reassuring.

I want to sell my 2021 sherco 450 SEF all of sudden....
No, you just need another bike!
@ YES!! - but I think a may be sleeping on the couch for a while
@@Rickdoinglife It's a small price to pay ;)
@@briansmale5457 LOL
It’s always easier to get forgiveness than permission!
Have you thrown it on a scale yet?
It looks weighty.
254 full of gas
Your hat cam makes me sea sick.
Yeah. Gotta work on that. And you probably need to toughen up. Can’t imagine how you’d do on an actual boat 😂
Fantic will Not be coming to the USA because they have a non competition clause with Yamaha to never sell their bikes in the USA -- Never!
I’d be careful saying never.
