    Robin, I love your videos. First, I am a woman much older than you. I have fine hair that is hard to work with. But, I have learned much more from your channel than any of the other women that I follow. You have good recommendations that have also helped me. Thank You.

    The white aesthetic of Brand Battle (and most of your videos) is really nice! Great comparison as always! I really like styling powders, they're pretty effective sometimes!

    You have to remember these products are meant for females, they don't wash their hair too often and thus need products that stay in the hair throughout the week.

  • @shedoesconcerts5762
    @shedoesconcerts5762 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I used got2b all through high school, I strongly suspect you just used too much. It's best to sprinkle it on the tips of your fingers and work it into your hair from the root. putting it on directly will result in uneven coverage and way too much product. I wish you'd shown how applied them.

    i've tried using volumising shampoo, sea salt spray, blow drying and then vo5 powder and although it does hold my hair in place, if anything it makes my hair almost look even thinner at the front. i don't wash my hair too often and i even tried not using conditioner this time (as that may help with giving volume, not being weighed down etc). i think it could just be because i need a haircut badly but would be nice to find a solution for the next month of lockdown.. 😭

  • @TypicalBambi
    @TypicalBambi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thing is with the wash-ability for this type of product I think, or at least for me, would be best for it to be hard to wash out, to keep some of it still in for better hold the next day right?

    Btw can you make a battle between got2b powder and Mister Pompadour Texture Powder, The price may be different but the amount should be the same since Mister Pompadour Texture Powder has 21oz compared to got2b only have 11 I think, currently using got2b as the main product but I'm really curious about Mister Pompadour Texture Powder as well

    • @vinny5727

      It doesnt matter what color your hairs is. It's absorbs into your scalp and hair. If your thinking that the "white powder on black hair" will be an issue it won't.

    shame I didn't watch this video a week ago, I just purchased got2be powder over OSIS which I didn't like. I was looking on vo5 but decided to try got2be. it is very sticky but for my short pixi I kind of like it as I don't have to use hairspray with this on my hair. And it washes out fine and I use organic shampoo without SLS. But unfortunately my hair became very dry from using it so I try to find other product with good hold, best if it is without parabens and other nasties.
