- Some shots of the flooding damage in Forest Hills. This wasn't caused by the hurricane, but a generator failing for a pump at a retention pond. My sister in laws house and all of her belongings are completely destroyed, as well as many others in the area. I've lived in this neighborhood for 35 years and never seen anything like this. Utterly heartbreaking.

My home is the lower right at 0:11 mark with the 2 sheds in the back...I have a storm drain at the bottom of my driveway and it never drained due to the pumps not working. I lost everything. Losing my husband last year, was devastating enough as this was his mother's house since the 50's and never ever has something like this happened. The city should be held responsible!!

I’m right up the street and saw the flooding happening as it just kept growing larger and larger. I was wondering what was going on. When they announced the pump failure because of the power outage the first thing I thought was why didn’t they have a generator. They should definitely have a generator. But when they asked them why wasn’t there a generator their answer was, we didn’t think we needed one but we will have one going forward. Ummmm….a little late don’t you think!?!? Unbelievable! I’m sorry for all the losses yall are dealing with.
That's no true there was no power outage as I stayed up all night watching the water rise and I had power the entire time. I shut my breaker off when it came in my house. I just had knee surgery getting my stitches out Monday and then this Wednesday I had to be rescued by a neighbor in his canoe in my pj's and no shoes...and my 2 cats leaving everything behind. This will be the 4th day I have been displaced from my home.
