High frequency are a bit tiny. With wind and adverse condition, it doesn't have the frequency responses of the other mic. It is not that bad though! Just being picky...
Enjoying it all, the Aussie scenery, the transition to multi-hull, your joy at being back on the water, at home, easier boat to sail , the more relaxed interaction between you two, the fun you both are having.....yes, thanks, it's a pleasure.
Yes, thank you, I am very happy to follow this current adventure. To me, both of you seem even more relaxed and content on the cat now than before on #1.
Been watching your channel for some time now, one of the things you really get right is the balance of talking to imagery/soundtrack. It's really lovely. Well done and as an expat Aussie living in the USA the last 20 years, I'm also loving this sailing Australian waters section. Reminds me of the extreme beauty of the home I've been missing.
Your Australia series is going in the direction that other top sailing channels seem to be departing from. I love seeing the sailing and discovery of new, beautiful places. I'm not not very into what family life with a baby onboard looks like from day to day. Thank you so much, I've subscribed to your channel.
We have enjoyed all your videos. Our favorite was the French Canals and this series is just as good. We enjoy seeing parts of the world from our living room that we will never see in real life. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment.
I am not a sailor, am pretty much befuddled by all of it…yet I so much enjoy your episodes and commentary. I was struck by your comment about being on a boat gives you the feeling of being ‘centered’. In my previous life as a corporate pilot, every moment off the airplane left me with an unidentified feeling of wondering when the beeper would go off, preventing an ultimate sense of relaxation. But once finally airborne and in cruise ‘above it all’, I knew ‘god’s in his heaven, all’s right with the world.’ Corny, yes, but I think that is quite the same as you felt….cheers..
You guy’s are a breath of fresh air, beautiful couple. Australia is such a special country, and seeing it through your eyes, even more magical, loving your video’s.⚓️🐟⛵️🇦🇺☀️🐠🦞🦀
MOB now has a new meaning ! Lol. From your last Atlantic crossing, the European sailing, and now Australia, the uniqueness of your adventures are absolutely wonderful.
You are trying to describe something that you just can't describe. But, I get it totally. YOU are now in YOUR element. It's like coming home, but even more so. I admit, I didn't notice any difference, but backstory; I had a bad day in the army and lost my hearing for several days and never got it back totally, lol! honestly, I have enjoyed you wherever you have traveled, I feel very comfortable watching you interact between yourselves and in your environment. You are my kind of people!
It's so refreshing to see another tropical location other than the Bahama's... What's even more refreshing is you two... The grumpy face killed me... The sound check was poetry and Nick, if that 9 volt battery was fully charged you'd have an instant Afro...
Everyone I know who has been to Australia goes on & on about it's beauty. I agree, but the conversation is always based on Sydney. Thank you so much for taking us to AUTRALIA. As usual the music and the banter is spot on.
The peace is rolling back some years off your faces. That was what the sailing adventure was about if I remember. Taking the crazy rushed world and slowing it down so we can enjoy life. Happy Trails
We are from Canada, never been in Australia. We enjoy your channel and the fact that we are able to enjoy your discoveries with both of you. You are easy going and authentic that is why we always look forward to your postings .It makes us feel happy to see people that follow their dreams.
The Basin is one of my favourite places, love that you cannot drive in there. In summer it’s full of families enjoying healthy outdoor holidays. Reminds me of Australia from the past.
I believe there's something primeval about our attachment to water, Nick. I also find that I need to be on or near the ocean at least once a week as it relieves the stresses that build up. Looking forward to the day when I can make it a more permanent existence...
Loved the video. I'm from England. I've spent 3 whole weeks in Australia, 1 week in Melbourne and 2 in Cairns. I learned that you need a lifetime to know Australia. I learned that in Queensland (or Cairns anyway) if you want good food get a barbecue. I learned that the rainforest is every bit as amazing as the Great Barrier Reef but no one talks about it. Once again I loved the video. Thank you.
I ran into one of your videos because TH-cam suggested it, probably because I'd recently watched a bunch of yacht walk through's and you did a bunch of sailboat walk thru's I had enjoyed. I'd watched other sailing videos sporadically but yours has been the 2nd couple I've actually enjoyed watching and binge watching. The other couple was the Wynns. I started watching sailing videos years ago (intermittently) for the look at strange lands or learning to sail info, but they lost my interest after 2 or 3 videos. Glad you are maintaining the "watch the scenery" aspect of your travel/sailing videos, when others got too involved instead with boring daily life with the family or wasteful self promotion.
Fell asleep watching TH-cam (it happens) and awoke literally laughing out loud at “I was told there would be bacon”! This needs to be on a t-shirt. Love your videos.
Yes! Wallabies just hanging around in a park is completely awesome and something to be marveled at! From the USA, been following RR for years and loving this season so far. I will say that I miss you guys getting off the boat and taking in the towns or the scenery like you did last season. The small towns, the walks, the nightly beer. ❤️❤️❤️
Loving this season and Australia. Your camera/video, sequencing, and editing skills have come leaps and bounds. Your comfort in front of and behind the camera, along with the boat and scenery shots, make your series a joy to watch and follow along. You both are in your element and where you belong. Jealous and cheers!
I have to say the quality & footage in this season is amazing & very professional, loved it, well done. And can I just say in Nick's defence that's how we test our batteries, give's you a bad taste in your mouth but that's how we do it!
I enjoyed the part where Nick expressed his feelings about being back on the water. He is in 'his happy place' as we call it. I hope he enjoys 'sailing a catamaran' on the open sea as much, too. That was his concern when you were contemplating the switch from a monohull- the feeling of being connected to the boat when sailing. I have a feeling that it will be 'different but good'.
I'm loving this series in Australia. I've never seen this part of the country before. Everyone sails around the coast but never like this. Just beautiful.
Just remember to do the stimgray shuffle when you are on the beaches around Pittwater. If you shuffle you scare them and swim away, of you stomp you can tread on one. If you do the latter keep the camera close as you will look like Jesus walking on water at a very excited pace.
@@masamuelson And that's why I've heard there's so many critters in Australia that either want to bite, sting, eat, or generally make your life miserable that swimming in ANY water is out of the question. Those little tiny jellyfish that you can't see but the sting is so poisonous that it will kill you before you can get to the Hospital. How does anybody swim in any part of the beaches around there🙄🤔🤔🤔 But I'd still like to see the country and New Zealand.
G’day T & N Not sure if anyone has told you BUT the pink moorings are 24 hour courtesy moorings, Yellow ones I think are National Parks Orange I think are Club & Red are Commercial stay with the Pink ones or just grab one & wait . Now can you tell some of the NON LOCALS that we swim just about anywhere in OZ. Granted far North there are some Croc issues & yes The real jelly fish in the summer months but apart from that NO ISSUES, mind you if it keeps our waters & beaches just for the Aussies then I can live with that. ENJOY look forward to our next catch up
Chris Kubara just stay away from the little blue ringed octopus 🐙 But this is offset by being able to see life no where else available like dugong or sea dragons.
We're loving the sailing Australia videos! And as others have commented, this season's episodes seem a step above the prior ones. Looking forward to seeing more of Australia.
Great to see Terysa on home turf. You seemed comfortable enough around Europe, but here you sound "at home"! I hope to visit Australia some day. Thanks for your weekly videos. They're like a mini vacation every week while I continue my life in landlocked Iowa.
Yes, after listening three times, I would say your, now drowned microphone sound better. 🥴 But on a high note, I love your Australia series. I live in Oregon and really get a kick out of Seeing all of your native animals. Look forward to all your future video’s.

MOB Drill is always a good thing to practice, executing a perfect 'Williamson Turn" I hope Nick. Australia looks stunning guys. Thanks for this weeks adventure. Fair winds and following seas Ruby Rose.
Great to see you enjoying Pittwater. It’s a fantastic waterway. It looks like you’re at the Basin on a weekday - as it’s generally packed on a fri - sun. For those interested, the Tv show Home and Away is filmed at palm beach, which is on the opposite side of Pittwater waterway. Also, tour further up the Hawkesbury river, past America bay / refuge bay etc, there are countless beautiful bays to explore. And, head north, past Lion island, past Umina Beach and up into Brisbane waters. Another very beautiful waterway. Enjoy!!
I love your vids. And it’s brilliant that you’re in our backyard (Pymble, NSW). Funny about you being at The Basin. My daughter just went for camp there 3 weeks ago and the wallabies broke into her tent and stole her food in the middle of the night! So yeah, we Aussies don’t take the wild life for granted. Shiz is dangerous in Australia. So lovely to have you cruising our backyard. Love everything you do, loving that you’re here at last!
Your editing this season is spot on. From your transitions, to Nicks songs, it is really, really great!! I am even more smitten than I was before with your channel!
The videos in Australia look amazing. At some point, you need to do a 5 minute video on the upgrade and what tech was improve. Seems like the same great story in 4HD. Can't wait for the next episode.
Lovely to appreciate the wild life in your beautiful country. Of course we here in Canada, though we see out wildlife all the time, ie; grizzlies, eagle, moose, black bears and such, we’re always amazed and appreciate its beauty too lol. I think that goes for all country’s wildlife. Sorry Nick 🤷🏻♀️☺️
We use Sena SPH10 bluetooth headsets on our boat when needing to communicate without yelling. They work great for anchoring or setting sails. Well worth the money. If one of us is down below and the other on deck it makes it really easy to talk as if we were both in the same spot.
My family and I lived I the Northern Beaches as US expats and spent a lot time in and around Pittwater. I sailed and raced there many times. Beautiful and peaceful. And you’re right… Australians can sometimes take it for granted that animals like wallabies can stroll around in the presence of people without fear. It’s a testament to the Aussie culture of respect for nature I think. A rabbit or cane toad wouldn’t be as lucky but that’s another story. ;-)
Both of you see to be more relaxed and enjoying life more. I know the sailing you did around France was in different waters/tides/currents. The scenery is amazing, the wallaby’s and iguanas fascinating, and the two of you fun to watch. Looking forward to more!
I just love your channel. Thank you. You seem to be louder on the cheap microphone, honestly ha ha. xx As we cannot travel ourselves due to restrictions and the stresses related to travel, your episodes are keeping me sane! I would just love to be onboard right now. How amazing for you guys.
Lovin' this series/season! Can't tell the difference on the mic. Loved the bit by Nic and why he felt good getting back on the boat. Here in Montreal 🇨🇦, just spent our first night at anchor and then had a leisurely sail back to the club to hang out in the cockpit. So relax! Beats the cubicle life!
I'm really enjoying this Oz series and in particular these amazing, secluded creeks and channels which are providing a different vibe and view of the country. The footage of the wallabies was stunning!
Sailing our old home town is making me reminiscent!!! We now live near Noosa but still have a massive soft spot for the sandstone cliffs & bushland of Sydney & the NSW coastline. Great vid team ⛵⚓🤙✌
Well I’m glad I watched to the bitter end !😂 I’m not a techie so I wouldn’t notice much re the microphone. Sounded fine to me. I dream of sailing to the WhitSundays. That’s my #1 in Oz. Cute little carnivorous Monitor lizard 🦎
It looks like you have the world 🌎 to yourselves. I’ve never seen a jellyfish swimming - thanks for that. And wallabies- I’ve never seen them either. That lizard was prehistoric!

I am loving this series! Makes me long for the days when I too was young, healthy and adventurous! I love how much you love it! Safe travels and I can't wait for next week's video!
You two look so happy and in such a beautiful place. It makes me happy to watch 😊 thanks so much for sharing your lives with us. Tie me kangaroo down sport, tie me kangaroo down! Now I want to go to Australia😍 wonderful video!👍👍👍
Discuss anchoring while feasting on barbecue breakfast with toasted bread, not toast mind you, but toasted bread, and avocado. The key is to lick a battery first, or a frog if no battery is handy. You two set the bar pretty damn high indeed, of that I can assure you.
This season of sailing in Australia is helping tide me over while we are stuck in Malaysia. I'm loving the videography , it's a very different approach to the usual tripe that is peddled.
looks like you are one a hell of a good cook Nick. Nice to see you are be proud to be an Aussie. Its one great country but more important are its people, If i wasn't a Canadian id be an Aussie
Putting the phone up the mast has forced me to rethink my ability to problem solve. Brilliant

Discuss anchoring while feasting on barbecue breakfast with toasted bread, not toast mind you, but toasted bread, and avocado. The key is to lick a battery first, or a frog if no battery is handy. You two set the bar pretty damn high indeed, of that I can assure you.
So beautiful!! Love the filming, stunning, really.
Thank you so much!
Mic overboard! This season continues to offer great content and stellar editing.
This season of sailing in Australia is helping tide me over while we are stuck in Malaysia. I'm loving the videography , it's a very different approach to the usual tripe that is peddled.
