- We had a blast at the beach, and sharing it with the cousins was extra special. It's crazy with 9 kids under 8, but we packed up a lunch and all our beach gear and ventured out to one of our favorite spots in Florida!
It is always exciting to watch our kids play with their cousins - Family is so important, especially when there are usually hundreds of miles between them. We treasure friendships and being together with some of our closest friends is invaluable! Bobby and Tori have been such an encouragement in our lives!

They do have family close, with living in Florida, Alyssa and John are within 2 hours of them.

Chad and Erin, I wonder if you'd ever consider writing a book on parenting with love, consideration of kids' feelings and developmental stages, and delighting in your children etc (while also not being permissive and having the kids become entitled or disobedient). You are so good at all of this. It's beautiful to see. My parents were too. Strict but truly enjoyed us and cared about how we felt. I think it's why none of us rebelled. We need this kind of loving wisdom passed on. ❤
Me too grew up with parents loving having fun with us!All of us kids never rebelled and we all love Jesus!❤❤❤❤ we are all Seniors now and still have that love.

@@chessyharris6200 I know. Since people have been so vile to the Dugger family, I just don't blame any of them for wanting private lives. I see hateful comments sometimes in the Bates vlogs as well. I wouldn't want my kids reading such things about their family. A lot of vloggers are choosing not to show their kids on screen anymore. With the internet so ugly now, I don't blame anyone for wanting to protect their family by keeping things private.
@littleangel4780 Yes, I totally understand. I grew to love both the Bates and the Duggars. It's kind of like they became part of your family. hated when people were so mean. None of us are perfect, and we shouldn't be throwing stones at anyone.

She always seemed very shy on Bringing Up Bates. She was a good sport but I thought she often looked a bit uncomfortable. After so much ugliness directed at people now, especially Christians, I don't blame anyone for wanting privacy. 😊😊

It’s definitely on the east coast of Florida. If you want to go to a nice beach nearer to you, try Holmes Beach or Coquina Beach down in Bradenton/Long Boat Key area.

So love a beach day with all the children. Such memories are made of this. And Carson having to catch a last wave❤ My friends and I would meet up once a week in the summer holidays and spend the whole day there, and at the end of the day our husbands would join us after work before walking home, sandy, salty and tired. We had 10 children between us and it was always lively but such great fun ❤

Hello from the Tampa area!
Love watching the family enjoying each other. But why don’t you put bathing suits on the girls? It’s has to get in the way of safety because of the wet stretching material. Not judging you, but I feel it comes from man made rules. I know you would not put them in inappropriate suits.
How in the world did you get sand off all those children???
The best way is to use baby powder in a sock.

I seen on instagram where they took a plastic shower curtain liner to the beach and dug a bit of sand out and turned it into a little pool, worked perfectly and took up zero space in the car
