The Air Ambulaces in the UK are all charities and the rest of the emergency services are paid for by taxes and the government so the man won't have to pay any of the bill
@@joejarosz2432Honestly, you don’t know an American when you hear one screaming for healthcare relief? I have a friend who was air rescued off Veil ski resort in Colorado at age 25 after a bad fall. Despite charitable events and parties, he’s still paying off that bill at age 53. I know how crazy that must sound to someone from a civilized society with a social safety net in place but paying out-of-pocket for the uninsured or under insured is an everyday fact of life here. What’s really crazy is when people are billed even when they may THINK they have coverage. My sister-in-law had appendicitis while visiting w/us in North Carolina and had to have emergency surgery. Well,,it turned out her insurance was only for in state coverage and did NOT cover this surgery since it was performed in NC rather than her home state of Virginia. I think it was close to $100k US. But ya’ know, we just lay down and ask for another. Crazy.
I wonder if the poor soul had been vaccinated for Covid. Being this is Australia, the answer is probably yes. All this suffering was totally avoidable.

I don’t know where you’re from but in the UK healthcare like this does not cost you per use. He will pay no bill for being rescued.

It's the UK and not sure what a covid vaccine has to do with heart attacks as they are incredibly common, particularly middle aged men
