I like Robert Q. He seemed to be very popular and he easily and confidently fits in well to any show.
I love Rufus the Doofus lol. That man obviously barked well 😅
Even with a substitute host, the Truth's the Same!
"How to be a better American." Worth googling.
tom poston as usual was brilliant
Leila Hadley was a babe. Having Ken Smith as a contestant reminded me of my visits to Cooperstown. This is not a paid endorsement but if you have a chance to visit, please do so. You will love the town itself and the museum. It is in a beautiful area of NY.
I love seashell and ı really want to study...
Correct name is Leila Hadley (1925-2009).
SPOILER!
In Round # 2, the real "Expert on Children's Travel" did not know how they pronounced Copenhagen (København) in Danish--and I would have thought that if she'd been there she would at least have heard how Danes pronounce it. (To hear it pronounced correctly, go to the audio of "Google Translate.") :)
Ask Danny Kaye!!
2:44 Peggy said to Robert "Thank you, Bud." haha
The dog imitator Walter Schibel was on the January 28th 1954 episode of You Bet Your Life.
*Lassie was a FEMALE* I truly thought everyone knew this. :)
but she identifies as male
Yes Lassie was a girl, but was played by a male dog.
She was in literature a female, but played by a male on the screen.
Man #3 in Game #1
Lady #1 in Game #2
Man #2 in Game #3
Lassie was a male dog because males had better coats and did not shed as much as females
Plus it was less likely for a male Lassie to have pups and hold up production. :)
@@joemackey1950 Hi. Maybe the didn't spay or neuter back then? But overall I learned that if a show used animals there was always a "stand in" to put in place if perhaps Lassie was sick?
We have a carton of Winston’s for each of you. Isn’t that special...
Just one month before the Surgeon General declared that cigarette smoking was hazardous to your health.
Not sure that it would be more fun to take your kids with you lol. Unless theyre old enough to get themselves around. Id rather go with an adult.😊
Did anyone ever vote for number 4?
I am not a fan of Robert Q Lewis.
And why is that?
I love him.
Obnoxious and overbearing.
