In 1961, Mitch became a TV superstar with his music show "Sing along with Mitch." I wonder if this was his first appearance on telly.
Lena Horne appeared on What's My Line? when she starred in "Jamaica."
On a old VHS tape somewhere I have an interview Casey Kasem did on his Top 10 TV show with Robert George so I knew which one he was. He spent his later years here in Glendale CA giving toys mostly for the terminally ill children. He played Santa Clause year round because most of those children would not live to see another Christmas. He was the official Santa to several Presidents.

I actually remember Mitch Miller. The Sing Along with Mitch Show.
The show lent itself to several "Sing Along" albums, including, appropriate to this segment, "Holiday Sing Along with Mitch".
Mitch Miller also appeared in the Scorsese doc No Direction Home about Bob Dylan (He was working at Columbia when Dylan was signed.)
i give up. why is Mitch Miller mentioned here?
@@greydogmusic He guested on 1 show
@@greydogmusic He was fake Santa #2
That is the worst Santa costume I've ever seen.
maremacd now I think I know where they got the Burger King costume from because the Burger King mascot is just as creepy looking LOL
They all look like sheep.
Sounds like a classic joke: "How do you judge a chicken at a poultry show?" I can already hear Henny Youngman answering that one. Or better yet, Rodney Dangerfield!
Jack Kelly Jr was the older brother of Princess Grace of Monaco
He died in 1985 of a heart attack.
OMG those are the worst looking Santas with the worst hair and beards I ever saw.
Wow, Celeste Holms looks soooo much like Tom Poston that I thought ythey were siblings, or even tthe same person; I actually looked iboth of them up.
Can I send you a check for new glasses?
I see it too
Great game 2 here.

Please remove this complete and utter troll from the comments section. Unfortunately today's awful society is full of pathetic people intent on ruining other people's enjoyment of social media. Moron.
@peternagy-im4be YOU ARE THE MOST NOTORIOUS TROLL ON YUTUBE 👹
Those are the creepiest 3 guys I've ever seen. If I were a kid, I'd be TERRIFIED of Santa Claus after seeing this episode! They look more like the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Please don't be so silly.
3:15 Usually buns.
***** He said "bums," I believe. I'm glad that turned out not to be true!
Not my favorite panel. Looking forward to Kitty coming back and Mr.Magoo/Mr. Howell replacing Hy Gardner. Thanks for the video.
u mean tom poston?
@@HecklesTheClown Jim Backus. You know Mr. Magoo from cartoons and Mr. Howell from Gilligan's Island.
@@kenyongray2615 oh ok i just recall tom fully replacing hy in 1959
Did #3 in game 2 die 2 years later in plane crash?
With respect,Polly made me physically ill
Please don't be so silly.
Sounds like snowflake
Since when does Santa cover his whole head
18:16 What?
***** #2 clearly knew _something_ about chickens, since she came up with that whole "ear lobe" idea, which turned out to be on the right track, if not exactly identical to the way the true poultry judge later described it!
