I've been practicing hitting flip resets for the last week or so. I finally came across a NEW approach video with a very in-depth break down and I am almost immediately starting to hit them semi-consistently after watching this video! The tip to raise the back tires a bit and boosting more into it was what did it for me. Your videos are amazing and I can't wait to see you blow up on YT!

Aye man, great content. I figured I should finally start learning these and this was very in depth and how you explained things was great, I started getting the first touches pretty wuick and within an hour and a half I hit a semi decent shot. Thanks again!
This video was so well made. Thank you for the tutorial. If I may add one thing, something that I've noticed in my journey to learn flip resets. If you are going for a straight flip reset off of the wall, try getting the reset when the ball is reaching its apex (highest point) in the air. If the ball is falling already, it tends to push your car down pretty fast, making it harder to use your reset effectively. Thank you again for the tutorial, I'd love to see one by you on Musty's as I've been struggling to learn those :)
This video was actually so helpful. Like much more than I expected. I've been able to flip reset for awhile, but this brought me back to the basics and actually reset my mentality towards flip resets.

the only thing i have to add is that if someone was to try a reset in game they would need to be good at reaching the ball really quickly, since leaving the ball floating like that is a very vulnerable situation up until you are on the ball. So Maybe you could highlight the importance of how fast and when you need to be at the ball, This is definitely good for someone who has not got the flip reset down yet tho. Maybe there could be another video on how to properly and effectively use resets in a real match.
Something that i never hear ppl say is, if you hit the reset, let go of everything ( i'm kbm, pushing forward/throttle also means pitch down )
releasing every button on the moment of impact relly helps me to stay close to the ball, holding a QZSD (or W,A ) on the moment of impact will just push the ball away or make your car bounce off
i actively have to think about that to do multiple resets otherwise i would hit the ball away and use all my boost to catch up
releasing the buttons allows you to hit those resets like Zen ! the more practice you have the faster you will be able to release and steer again and get prettier, better, more controlled shots / goals / plays, great tutorial, just wanted to include what i've been missing as a good tip for resets :) ( nobody ever talks about it )

after watching this i hit a flip reset first try (i have hundreds of hours in freestyling and can do almost every type of reset consistently) W tut

The thing that clicked is I was feathering up to ball : when you said stay boosting and air roll to get reset it clicked what I was doing wrong . Yes I learned how air dribble etc on my own but i put off learning resets because everyone says it's gonna take so long. Now I gotta learn to get the reset in every situation needed . But your setup is a great start for me . Because ita very similar to my normal air drinble set up. I wanna learn ground to air dribble :then reset : stuff like that for freestyle type goals to get to next level .

Boosting to the ball was a really good tip thank you 🙏🏾 Don’t know if this would be helpful but if your struggling to get the flip reset try starting further back instead of at half court. For me starting further back has made me instantly hit more because controlling my car is a little easier and I like the camera angle. Does this work for anyone else?
- and starting at a slower game speed in free play and going up gradually helped me a lot

small extra trip, since it's been quite a big topic in the community recently;
Make sure you're aware of whether or not you're driving/braking in the air, since this adds momentum whilst airborne AND has an effect on how you bounce off the ball after you get the reset :)
e.g. for double flip resets it's best (most of the time) to let go of R2/L2. Also if you have more speed than the ball try using the brakes whilst getting the reset and vice versa. Might be a bit advanced but it's overlooked quite often whilst it has a decent impact on how you get your resets

Push same side of your air roll to reverse tornado spin it will set you up almost perfect for a reset with little need for adjustments.

yea good examples and clearly said, I want to learn double Flip reset or even triple like u did here, I also Have Square and Cirlce for the airroll and L1 for free airroll, but I do double flip resets random ingames, and if I try to learn it i mess it up and doing stalls sometimes and stalls are hard but would help also to stay in Position for another flip reset if I need too. I cant see my own mistakes and thats awful for practice :/

Hi I been dreading having to learn the flip reset, I'm not the best with mechanics but I made it to champ. I don't use directional air roll though and I've been trying to learn how to do it without it. You said you might cover it in the video but I seen that you didn't, can you please make a video about nondirectional flip resets?😅

One thing I’ve always been confused on for getting a double flip reset is when I’m about to get my second flip do I use direconal air roll or regular air role to spin my car around,I use directional to get my first flip but I have to take my thumb off the directional button to flip

Theres unlimited flips in freeplay on pc as an option LMAO but if i used TAS you would see the plugin at the top center of the screen indicating whether or not its off or on
@@OfficialLeaf1 unlimited flips is a part of bakesmod. I get why you would use it but it's kinda cheap though. Consistency is key and nothing is more consistent then just faking it.

@@OfficialLeaf1 well the fact that it doesn't openly show your consistency with the mechanic. If you were rather consistent and confident in showing it off you wouldn't be using unlimited flips. It's good for an educational video don't go me wrong but you aren't showing the struggles and mistakes of the mechanic and just like with anything people are less inclined to listen to advice if you aren't as consistent at it.
