Great work Viny! Love your videos. I was thinking, with your proficient knowledge. Another Arduino, you could program to monitor the temp and humidity of the greenhouse, run a couple of 12v linear actuators to open and close the roof. Happy wife, happy life!
Dude!!!! That is so twilight zone....BECAUSE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW!...Except that I'm building my own actuator...because...for the fun of it I guess 🤷♂️ It might make it to a video, but not sure yet.. Again..🤯 😁
Hey, Viny! It is truly a sad state of affairs when a CANADIAN can’t get a hold of some prime lumber at a reasonable rate. I figured you just had to flag down a RCMP Mountie and ask him for help finding the nearest lumberjack, then asking your willing neighbors to help buck-saw the logs into dimensional boards. I guess actual Canada is not quite like the one in my imagination! Anyway, you still continue to impress me with your limitless imagination and resourcefulness in squeezing the last bit of value out of all materials. I hereby declare you an honorary YANKEE (not the New York baseball type, but the hardscrabble MA, VT, NH, or ME variety). The old yankee adage is: “use it up, wear it out, make do or do without!) My compliments, mon voisin!
WOOW! What a comment pal! RCMP...lumberjack....buck-saw!!! You do have quite an imagination! 🤣 I'll take the honorific title! Thanks you for your comment man, very entertaining! 👍👍👍
Super good actually! The first roof door has been blown up twice and broked the hinges, but the rest of it is in tiptop shape! So if I had closed the roof doors during really windy days, I sould have been just fine!
You can get small openers for the vents www.amazon.ca/BIBISTORE-Sensitive-Automatic-Greenhouse-Hothouse/dp/B07P7VZV2C/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=vent+opener&qid=1629304671&sr=8-5 Not sure how well they work but they have been around for a while for small garden greenhouses
This guy deserves a million subscribers
It's nice to see you and your wife working together on a project!
Again an awesome video Viny. Your editing skills are great!
Thanks Lars, I'm doing my best to edit and create the best vids possible!
If wood is the price of gold then the positive message here is build that thing out of gold :D Nice work :)
🤣👍
This is excellent
Any chance for a little more info on the Arduino water controller? It looks awesome!
Yes, what are your questions?

Merci, je cherchait une façon de faire une serre avec mon abris tempo. J’ai beaucoup aimé la façon que vous avez faite votre serre.
