- In this video find out the REAL cost of visiting Aqualand in Mallorca (Majorca) in Summer 2022. I made this video to help you plan your trip to Aqualand in El Arenal. Not only is it packed full of fun, but also it's jam-packed full of optional extra costs that you may wish you knew before going there.
Waterparks are never cheap however, but I'd rather you watched this video before going so you're not too shocked when you get there, particularly if you're travelling over on a budget!
I'll show you what you may wish to spend over and above the cost of your entrance ticket.
This ranges from parking your car to keeping your belongings safe. Plus I'll show you the other extra costs for renting a sunbed, food, drinks, ice creams and buying a photo from your visit.
I will also give you tips on how to save some money on your day out to Aqualand.
If you’re watching this in Summer 2023 or beyond, then just add a few euros to the cost of everything mentioned to give you an idea of how much you will need to spend.
MOST SHOCKING: You will also see how Aqualand increases the cost of a Fast Pass in August making this day trip even more expensive than you may expect if you are visiting at this time.

We went in July, not too busy at all. Fast Pass wasn't needed. We took loads of drinks with us, but bought pizzas for lunch and the price still makes me feel totally conned!! Definitely picnic next time.

Been to aqualand and western park. Both are owned by the same company so equally expensive but think western park is the better out the two. Better public transport to western park as well.
I can confirm water shoes are a must have!
With the rusty steps, I'd literally hate anyone with a cut on their foot to stand on a rusty step. Needs to be painted if only for that reason. Not like they are short of a few euros coming into the park either.
Eek! So expensive! It looks really good fun, but omg, the prices! Even for a single person it’s extortionate, but for a family… ouch! No shaded areas for queuing in places and rust on the steps really poor too! I bet those steps would burn bare feet too. The water shoes idea is a good one 👍
Spot on - I really think someone should get some paint on that rust at least until it can be fixed up properly.
We went and made our video beginning of June and the fasttack tickets were 10e,, wow that’s a fortune more in 3 months for holiday makers..
Wow!!! Not many businesses can get away with putting up the price of a ticket 3.5 times in a few months ! That’s crazy !

Great fun place but wow, a family of four could easily burn through a hefty amount in a day, €8 for a slush! 😬I wouldn’t fancy paying those prices and then spending half the day queuing up either. Maybe earlier or later in the season it wouldn’t be so bad queue wise though.

The 8€ slushy was just about the limit I think 😂 and exactly - I think early or late in the season may well be better value than August. Will be interesting to see if the cost of the fast pass goes down in September too .
All I can say is that it's more expensive now to what it was 30 years ago.. think it's best to book a ticket through your website Alex.. as long as you dont charge extra for getting wet. :)

Hi.. it's been a year or so, so I don't know if ur still reading these comments... do you do a video on Alcudia, please?.. as we (me and my 9yr old son) will be staying at the Sofia Alcudia Beach Hotel.. and was wondering if the Hidropark water park will still be open, as well as all the other attractions, and restaurants (like Muddy;s)?! Yes I read all my comments - answering them is another matter (time!). Yes it’s all open for the summer - I’ll be back there soon (water park shuts in October tho )

Yes - but they have to be the neoprene shoes like the ones you get in the beach shops if you’re walking on rocks (not hard plastic sandals )

Hi, I filmed this in August. It's always busier on a Saturday and Sunday, so I would advise visiting mid week. Even better is to visit when kids are back in school from around the 15th Sept.

El problema es la calidad-precio de la comida que tendría que mejorar pero el parque está muy bien, uno de los más grandes y completos. También hay que tener en cuenta que Mallorca no es barata en general y sobretodo para los propios residentes aunque está bien en comparación con muchos otros países europeos como Francia por ejemplo 😜
El problema también es que el parque necesita una renovación para justificar los precios. El óxido en las escalera era terrible de ver.
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun imagino que el cierre por la pandemia no ha ayudado, aunque es cierto que lleva lleno toda la temporada. No tengo ni idea... aunque al abrir sólo unos meses al año tiene que ser bastante caro el coste de mantenimiento todo el año. Pero sí claro tiene que estar lo mejor posible evidentemente y en relación al precio. Para mí es el mejor, salvo la comida que es mala, aunque es cierto que parques con buena comida y buen precio son una excepción. También es verdad que aunque llevo yendo cada año desde siempre, justo este año no he ido 🤷

@MallorcaUnderTheSun oh yeah, 45 for an adult 32 for child. 10 euros just for a burger and coke. And the wait times are horrendous.

Wowzer, my idea of hell & an expensive hell at that. Amazing to see queues for all these overpriced things. It doesn't look like the owners are reinvesting any of their huge profits into improving the conditions for their customers. Despite all that, I do hope you had a lovely day !
