The last time I was there was 1995. It was before they had the water slides, it was just a Western themed bar crawl called "Dorado Night City" It failed miserably!
There used to be a water park opposite called "Aqualand"
They closed Aqualand and put the water park into Dorado Night City and renamed it Western Water Park.

that’s interesting, aqualand is now near the airport,, my first memory they used to have a western show,, all gone now.

@@lovinglifemallorca Ah, it was Aquapark maybe in Magaluf. Alqualand in Arenall was called Aquacity back then. I used to guide it every week.

@@BenjaminGrimley Correct,the Magaluf park was called Aquapark, Aquacity in El Arenal is now known as Aqualand.

Pity that the Dorado night city failed.I dont know why it failed because this El Dorado/western stuff is really interesting.

@@scienceownsimposters2142 Dorado Night City failed because it was terrible Basically it was just a themed bar crawl that you had to pay to enter.
Yes they had shows on at night but it was very expensive for what it was. We never managed to sell tickets all summer.

Thanks for another great video. I use to really enjoy western water park, when they had the shows on aswell as the water park. Was great seeing people dressed in western gear. Its a shame all that has stopped not the same anymore

I remember seeing the sows they were good. Do you remember the chap jumping into the pool from high!!!

@@lovinglifemallorca yes I remember the guys who did the high diving that was amazing. Also the show inside one of the bars can can and knife throwing.
