- I recently camped at Itchetucknee Springs Campground, a beautiful getaway where you'll find the Real Florida. A peaceful place where free-range pets and farm animals enjoy the old growth oak forest. Located 3 minutes from the North entrance of Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist Blue Springs, and others are close by.

Since they don't have a website It would have been nice to see a little more of their campground in your video. Like some of the tent sites and RV sites, etc...could you make another video of this place? What you showed was beautiful.

THIS IS AMAZING... Sorry to have to suggest this, folks, but I know you adore that dog and would not want anything that hurts it going on, right? It absolutely needs its nails trimmed to about half as long as they are. And that can ONLY be done across weeks of time bcuz the pink "cuticle" that runs down center of nail keeps growing with the nail and if you cut it by mistake it's very painful, often dangerously bloody, just like ripping our nails out of the nail bed. So trimming a tiny bit at a time once a week will cause that "cuticle" to recede to accommodate the shortened nail.
If you do not trim a dog's nails --and especially this poor little one's nails given how long they are and s/he has no concrete type surfaces that s/he runs/plays on which act like a nail file to keep the nails trimmed-- if you do not trim the nails down to where it's walking only on the pads of the feet (and this already going on in this dog) the animal ends up walking on it's nails rather than the pads --EXCEPT that it can't walk on the nails without forcing each toe to spread wide and that starts to rip the webbing btwn their toes, all their body weight on those toes w/webbing - very painful. And I'm SURE that's not what you want. Not many people are aware of this issue w/companion animals.

Yes, isn't that fascinating? I used to raise pet pigmy goats. They are such sweet, gentle creatures.

From what I saw there, any alpaca lucky enough to live there wouldn't have a need for nasty defensive habits like that. 😅
